Democrats’ ‘War Game’ for Election Includes West Coast Secession, Possible Civil War
Breitbart.com ^ | 2 Aug 2020 | JOEL B. POLLAK

Democrats are contemplating secession and potential civil war as they game out possible scenarios for a closely contested election, according to a report by Ben Smith in a New York Times column Sunday.

The bulk of Smith’s column is devoted to the question of how the media will handle Election Night coverage, given that the result may not be known for weeks. Vote-by-mail, which many states have only recently adopted — ostensibly, to prevent the spread of coronavirus in polling places — could lead to an uncertain result.

[...]

In one scenario, John Podesta — the former chair of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and a leading figure in party circles — played former Vice President Joe Biden, and refused to concede the election.

The result: the threat of secession by the entire West Coast, followed by the possible intervention of the U.S. armed forces:

Great. Flip Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada red by removing the coastal areas and Las Vegas. Take Hawaii, too? Mexican border?

“California would be annexed by Mexico within 10 years”

It hasn’t been already?

Screw that!

Shove them into the sea and keep the coast.

I'm putting my money on the farmers, working men and hunters in the center of the country over the coastal Jellies.

The draft came late in the War to restore the Union.

And yes, there was bitter anger for men coming right off the boats and going right into the Union forces to free slaves. the race riots in New York were pretty bad.

Pretty sure, this time, a draft will be unnecessary.

Unless the seceding states or areas have help,(maybe the UN, maybe the CCP)there are more patriots than there are squawking idiots.

"The democrats already tried this in the 1860’s, didn’t work than, will not work now."

IDK. I don't see much stomach for keeping these miscreants in this country. If they took their (Dem) cities (NY, LA, San Fran, Chicago, etc) and formed a nation of city-states, outside of OUR country - and taking their Dem voting block with them - I'd be all for it!

Why should they get the coast line?

It’s only a civil war if we try to stop them from seceding... which we would not.

No need for armed forces. No need for anything.

They have no oil. Cut them off. They starve in a few weeks as food can’t move.

Then there is that problem of being cut off from the Federal Reserve and any source of money.

“Until 90% of those states, by land mass, secede from them.”

Yep. As soon as they sought to secede... the “red” counties in those states would secede from them. And be glad to do so!

I guess that includes me and Jim Robinson?

You are wrong even in jest. There are millions of R's or conservatives in all three states, most are not in the cities, we own the land mass, they own the cities.

After 67 years living in all three states, my husband and I are considering becoming southerners.

The Democrat party is a criminal enterprise.

When, or if, they are ever going to pay for their crimes, is the question.

It’s kind of hard to be a Senior Military Commander with no one to command....

Meaning, I have a hard time believing in this country the military would be involved in a coup like that and if they were, I have an even harder time believing rank and file officers and enlisted men/women would go along with Senior Leadership in a coup attempt, it would be certain death if they did

If the Left coast wants to go, let them go. Good riddance. Might I suggest you take The Northeast with you?
