Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer vetoed a bipartisan bill on Friday that would have protected the elderly and vulnerable by banning COVID-19 patients from being quarantined in nursing homes.
“Protecting the health and safety of nursing home residents and their staff continues to be a top priority for my administration,” Governor Whitmer said while announcing her veto.
“Senate Bill 956 is nothing more than a political game that would relocate vulnerable seniors without any requirement for consent, doctor’s approval, or notification to patients and their families. It’s time for the Republican legislature to get serious about protecting our most vulnerable and addressing the public health and economic crisis faced by our state.

2 residents in the nursing home where my M-in-law lives have tested positive. There is a strict ban on all visitors. So obviously they got infected from the staff.

How are the people in my state so stupid? Plus, dozens of mostly young (meaning pro-Dem, pro-Whitmer fools) go out without masks, and meet and laugh together in groups. All against Whitmer’s lockdowns (this is partly referring to April-June lockdowns which they ignored if they “felt” like ignoring them.) Then they claim they like being locked down by the hag. Why?

It’s entirely consistent. Remember that Democrats define the
“health” of a woman as the result of killing her baby and crushing her soul. In this case, she protects and attains the “health” of a nursing-home resident through killing the neighboring residents and separation from living human contact, keeping the threat of a lonely, imminent death ever present.
For the left, they consider the elderly wastes of space anyway that are too expensive for our health care system..so killing them off with this virus is win/win for them

Right. She places abortion mills in Michigan as "essential" and helpful to women's "health." No one asks about the health of the innocent babies, who are now dead and cannot give us their opinions. What "health" is involved for a woman who doesn't prefer to have a child due to her career or her male partner's preferences. "Health?"
She was an ardent abortion advocate for years before going from the Michigan Legislature to the Governor's mansion. Would prefer no restrictions on the month of the pregnancy for the abortion or even the born alive status of the baby, but has been held back by others. Until now.
