Valerie Jarrett: "Lindsey Graham is the one that encouraged McCain to turn over the dossier to the FBI"

Former senior adviser to President Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett talks to FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo about the Trump/Russia investigation.

"I have a high degree of confidence in our intelligence community, investigators comported themselves responsibly," Jarrett said. "Lindsey Graham is the one that encouraged Sen. McCain to turn over the dossier in the first place to the FBI."

"I do know that it’s nearly four years ago and I don’t understand why our focus isn’t on what’s happening right now and today. That’s the investigation I’d like to see," she said.

Bartiromo asked about the origins of the Steele dossier: "What’s happening right now is we are learning the details of what took place and we are getting official confirmation that the FBI knew that the dossier was garbage and made up in a bar because the sub-source of the dossier told FBI officials in early January."

"I was not involved in any of those conversations," Jarrett replied. "But the question I really want to put to you is, what are we doing today?"

"If people want to have an investigation about what happened four years ago, they should do that. But aren’t you concerned about what’s going on right now? Aren’t you worried about the integrity of our upcoming elections? Aren’t you worried about how we’re going to have a safe and fair election?"

Lindsey is a mixed bag. He can sometimes seem to remember which side he’s on, but most of the time he’s an elitist troll. On the other hand, ValJar is a total snake. She might be telling the truth here, but she also might be lying to drive a wedge between Trump and Lindsey because any kind of rift this close to the election is bound to hurt Trump.

In any case, it’s irrelevant at this point, so I suggest we blow it off and not get distracted.

Anybody else that wants to see him lose his seat thus losing the Senate is certainly not a true backer of trump. Because the Senate will give him hell just like the house does

I usually thank people for responding to my posts.

But in view of the curt answers I’ve received on this present matter, I’m not sure I’d care to this time around.

I wouldn’t call your posts flames, but they have a certain peremptory tone that I personally try to avoid at all times.

I will restate my initial position: I remain neutral on Sen. Graham. For that matter, I reserve my right to remain neutral on any issue — or change my mind when the facts change.

But don’t think for one moment that I haven’t read a lot of opinions about Graham here on FR.

The ultimate reason I remain neutral about Graham and a lot of other Republicans is simple.

We’re at war with the Left. You go to war with the army you have. Not the army you wish you had.

We know all too well that there are a lot of weak, cowardly GOPers in Congress.

But if you had to deal every day with a slanderous, mendacious, vicious news media that distorts everything you say ... well, I don’t know many people with the intestinal fortitude to withstand that.

I wish the typical GOPe legislator was tougher — but then, I don’t have to deal with the pressures they face.

So, I save my hate for the RATs. The GOPe may underperform consistently, but at least they don’t want to destroy the economy and abrogate our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I know that’s a weak endorsement, but at least it’s consistent with the facts as I see them. Sen. Graham and the other mediocrities in Congress just don’t matter all that much to me.

This troubled nation has only one leader worthy of the name: Donald J. Trump.

Sounds like another 'what difference does it make at this point?' type of question. Hillary and ValJar are soulmates when it comes to how the law should work for them and democrats.

Apparently, Valerie doesn't want investigations to occur, and would love for the crimes committed by the corrupt Obama administration to go without investigations and unpunished. It was 'so long ago' and those crimes are history. What's done is done; move on. That's Valerie's justice system for the corrupt Obama people, including her.

McCain took a dive so that the Constitution could be abrogated by both parties on Usurpation Day.
Obama is not a natural born citizen and they all knew it.
Flimsey Grahamnesty has voted to destroy the country with amnesty three times.
I agree that we need every seat, but do not have illusions that Graham is not trying to give the Democrats a permanent majority when he is still determined to do so with amnesty.
