Lindsey Graham is good...a damn good politician. Knows just how to subtly divert and deceive. We all knew years ago that he was McCain’s butt buddy.

Graham remains something of an enigma to me. On the one hand, as you say, there was his association with the egregious McCain. On the other, his strong showing during the Kavanaugh hearings.
Just words, one might object. But they were exactly the words needed at the time.
As for Madame Jarrett, she was the eminence grise of Obama’s presidency and is no doubt deeply involved in the attempted coup d’etat. I wouldn’t trust her word on anything.

New details about the late Sen. John McCain’s role in distributing a salacious 2016 dossier involving President Donald Trump were revealed in recently unsealed court filings and have unleashed a new round of Trump fury against McCain seven months after the senator’s death.
McCain, R-Ariz., previously had acknowledged getting a copy of the dossier, which was a compilation of memos written by former British spy Christopher Steele, and delivering it to then-FBI Director James Comey. The explosive dossier contained unverified information and, among other things, claimed the Russians had compromising information on Trump.
David Kramer, who had known McCain since his days at the State Department, is an expert on Russia and is involved with the McCain Institute for International Leadership. He was deposed in December 2017 as part of a legal battle waged by a Russian businessman Aleksej Gubarev over BuzzFeed’s publication of the dossier.

Kramer’s testimony also provides more complete details of key events from the time McCain learned of the dossier during the November 2016 Halifax International Security Forum. McCain had said he learned of the dossier after Kramer introduced him to a retired British diplomat who knew of the dossier. Kramer said that diplomat approached him presumably as a way to connect with McCain, who was deemed an influential conduit.

McCain addressed his role in the dossier drama in his 2018 memoir, “The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations.”
“I had an obligation to bring to the attention of appropriate officials unproven accusations I could not assess myself, and which, were any of them true, would create a vulnerability to the designs of a hostile foreign power,” McCain and co-author Mark Salter wrote in the book. “I discharged that obligation, and I would do it again. Anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell.”

SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM: I’ve spent some time in the last couple of days after a lot of fighting with the Department of Justice to get the background on the dossier and here’s what I can tell your viewers I’m very disturbed about what the Department of Justice did with this dossier and we need a special counsel to look into that because that’s not in Muller’s Charter and what I saw and what what I’ve gathered in the last couple of days bothers me a lot and I’d like somebody outside DOJ to look into how this dossier was handled and what they did with it.
FOX NEWS BRIAN KILMEAD: Wait a second, so you found out something you did not know and you already disturbed by it and is about the what’s in the contents of it or how it was used for this investigation and unmasking possible Trump officials?
GRAHAM: I’ve been a lawyer most of my life a prosecutor and a defense attorney and the one thing I can say every prosecutor has a duty to the court to disclose things that are irrelevant to the request so anytime a document is used to go to court for legal reasons. I think the Department of Justice owes it to to the court to be up and up about exactly what this document is about who paid for it who’s involved what their motives might be and I can just say this after having looked at the history of the dossier and how it was used by the Department of Justice.

Because the republicans are so slow to ever do anything. If the shoe was on the other foot, the democrats would have had this done already years ago and time would have been being served.
