A couple in St. John’s, Michigan recently took down the red, white and blue flag of Norway displayed on the porch of their bed and breakfast after receiving continuous complaints by ignorant liberals who accused the couple of flying the Confederate battle flag.
The Nordic Pineapple, run out of a mansion built in 1861 by a Union general, was started two years ago by Greg and Kjersten Offenbecker. The couple flew the flag of Norway from a pillar opposite the American flag to honor Kjersten’s Norwegian heritage (her grandfather immigrated from Norway.) Both the U.S. and Norway flags were taken down by the frustrated couple.

Thus clearly illuminating the ignorance and prejudiced attitude against the South and anything pertaining to the Confederacy. Our public education (really the lack thereof) shows itself to be lacking on a daily basis.

Unfortunately it’s a different world today. Twenty years ago anyone offended by that flag would simply not stay there. But now, there’d be rocks thrown through the windows, etc.
Side story:
A guy I know owns an apartment building. And there was some graffiti drawn on the garage’s doors. He said he knew who did it. He just couldn’t prove it. I asked him if he was going to file a police report, or at least call their parents.
Nope, he said. The last time it happened, he did call the parents. The next evening someone broke every window in the garage.
I used to have a Norwegian flag on my desk at work. I had so many dopes come over and ask if it was the Confederate flag that I finally put NORWAY in big black letters on the stick. But, I still had the occasional dope ask me that question.

One would have to be both blind and dumb as hell to confuse a cross with an X. The Norwegian flag more closely approximates the German flag than the Old Dixie.
This level of stupidity complete demonstrates how easy leftists can equate anything to do with American culture as somehow racist. The saddest aspect of this is that people that ignorant and dumb are almost immune from fact and counter any argument with a reflexive insult. It’s almost impossible to educate the willfully stupid.
When I saw the German flag, I am referring to the German battle flag (black cross).
Complete and utter ignorance. They have no idea of origin of the peoples that settled that land. Or maybe they do and they just hate people of Scandinavian ancestry. They are very white after all.
I hope they go out of business solely based on their cowardice.

Put up a sign indicating the the flag is that of Norway. Then state that if you thought it was the Confederate flag, that just shows that you are an ignoramus.

The Democrats are in a civil war against their own racist origins and are demanding the rest of us loudly pick a side to show we’re not as bad as they are.
I'm now expecting the loony left to state that all black flags must be BLM flags.
