Side story #2:
Another guy I know owned a bar in, shall we say, a diverse neighborhood. One night someone broke a basement window while trying to get in and burglarize the place. As with the other story, my friend knew who did it. It was a neighborhood kid. But he couldn’t prove it.
So the next day he went over to kid’s house, gun in hand. Not in his pocket, but in his hand. He talked to the parents, and there was no further problems.
My friend was a crazy, first-generation Serbian. Yeah, pretty crazy. If those parents had been just as crazy, I guess it would have been Gunfight at OK Corral time.

Even sadder is the fact that as they are named The Nordic Pineapple there likely is a sign with that on it.

I wouldn’t necessarily expect everyone to know that it is the Norwegian flag, but I would expect them to know that it is NOT the Confederate flag. I’ll bet they don’t know sh-t from Shinola either. There should be institutions for the dangerously stupid and ignorant, safe places where they can cause no harm to themselves or others.
I once knew someone like that in a church group. He was in the Air Force. Not a bad guy, but I always imagined to find out some day he had taken a bad fall from tying his shoelaces together. One day he mentioned to me he had a Bible that did not begin with the book of Genesis. He was concerned because he had read in the Revelation to John that anyone who added or took away from this book would be cursed. I asked him to bring it to show me. Sure enough, he had a Bible that didn’t begin with Genesis. It was a copy of the New Testament. I lost track of him after he was transferred to Greenland. I’ll bet he was surprised to find out it isn’t green.

I have been flying the Christian flag at local Trump flag waving meet ups here in Central FL. All the idiots think it is a white supremacist. Gives me an opportunity to share the gospel with people and maybe drive out some demons LOL!

Sadly, “gay” was a word, like “niggardly” which does not have a direct replacement.
“Gay” meant more than just happy. It meant a happy outlook on life, or even happy-go-lucky. “He is a gay fellow/gal” or “s/he leads a gay life” meant the guy/gal had a positive outlook on life and was fun to be around.
When the term was lost to leftist appropriation, the English language was permanently marred as there is no substitute.
The same holds true for “niggardly.” It does not simply means miserly, it usually is used with apportioning and describes paucity in portioning and implies the provider is miserly.
Again, the English language and culture are robbed of the ability to provide meaning.
In stealing our language, the left commits a crime on humanity greater than any physical destruction and desecration could. They are the language al Qaeda.
The solution is simple and obvious. Norway needs to change its flag. /s
No shortage of ignorant liberals can’t tell one flag from another wonder if they think the south Carolina state flag is from the middle east.
