A rally calling for an end to Pennsylvanias coronavirus restrictions is set for 11 a.m. today at the state Capitol in Harrisburg.
Organizers of the Pennsylvania Assemble for Freedom event say they are gathering to call out the governor, and to demand to be set free from any, and all restrictions, and to return freedom of choice to We the People.
According to organizers, speakers will address the crowd starting at noon. They include lawmakers like state Sen. Doug Mastriano, state Rep. Russ Diamond, as well as business owners and representatives of organizations like ReOpen PA.
We will be peaceful, but we will be heard, and seen, organizers wrote on the events Facebook page. We will be there as a show of force, and to demonstrate that the patriotic, but fed up citizens of Pennsylvania can quickly produce a well-regulated assembly at the front door of the capitol when necessary.
State Sen. Doug Mastriano is considered a leading contender for the GOP nomination.
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Doug Mastriano is awesome! I was unaware of him till now but have become a huge fan. His nightly fireside chats are one of the things that is keeping me going through all this.
Sadly it sounds like he’s getting less than full cooperation from the White House.
if you “... demand to be set free from any, and all restrictions...” you implicitly concede he legitimately imposed these restrictions and took away your rights in the first place.
Your health director is an insane man who pretends to be a woman and demands the rest of you indulge his delusions.
The four horsemen of the ‘pocalypse: Wolf, Pfefferman, Shapiro and Levine.
anyone have a link to a livestream for this?
Glad to hear the resistance is building. We cant go on like this. I live in Florida, which has supposedly light restrictions, although individual cities have instituted more severe ones, and its unbearable. Businesses that were just trying to reopen have seen their customers dwindle because of the mask requirement, parents who were making plans to go back to work have now been told that the new normal school will only be part time if at all (Thanks to the teachers union) and the kids are subject to such insane masking and social distance requirements that they’ll all be psychotic by the end of the year, etc.
This thing is over (If it ever even really existed) and weve got to get back to living. But that wont happen until more people stand up and say theyre just not going to take it anymore.
Good luck, Pennsylvanians!
Was just up there a couple of weeks ago.
My PA friends absolutely abhor this azzhole and his HeSheIt (pronounced “he-shit-it” by my PA friends) health czar. Much like NY state is held “hostage” by NYC, PA is held “hostage” by the communist morons in Philly and Pittsburgh.
In reality we’re held hostage by Democrats from “purple” areas of the state who nonetheless vote in lock-step with the party and prevent us from having a veto-proof majority in the Legislature.
Just do what I do....wear no mask and, if challenged, say you have a medical condition that prohibits it.
If they dig deeper, you tell them your medical history is private and none of their business.
I don’t do dictates from Doctor Dickless.
Only video I can find of this is being streamed by Sen. Mastriano on his Facebook page. Appears to be from his personal phone. Can’t get a good idea of crowd size from where he’s located but virtually nobody appears to be wearing masks.
