Masks have been the norm in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Slovakia, Slovenia, etc and they have lower rates than the maskless world.

CA imposed masks over a month ago. COVID incubation period is not that long.

Thanks for the great post, VictoryGal. If enough people know about President Trump’s comments at the briefing, we’ll have a much better chance of winning.

“We have been imprisoned at home since March”

You haven’t been allowed out of your house and you haven’t left your house since March?

I think Pence is Trump’s Rasputin. Don’t misunderstand - Pence is a nice guy and not morally corrupt like Rasputin, but he’s giving Trump the wrong message and Trump trusts him.

Pence did a lousy job with the “task force,” letting Fauci take over, but Trump did nothing to rein him in.

Schumer said that Trump is the weakest president we have ever had, and I’m inclined to agree. The Dems scream that he’s Hitler but this is all part of Dem play acting...in reality, Trump has let himself be insulted and marginalized even more than Bush did.

Pelosi would never have dared to tear up a SOTU speech by Bush, RINO that he was. But it was easy to do with Trump because she knew there would be no repercussions... not even a call for censure or anything. Maybe a tweet from Trump but no follow up.

Sorry to be so angry about this, but I think he’s really undercutting our good governors - such as Kemp, whom he attacked personally, and DeSantis and even Abbot, who would have been better if he’d gotten more support. Instead Trump praises Cuomo and Fauci.

I can’t stand it! We need to reopen and he’s got to take the lead. But he’s not. I’ll vote for him, obviously, but only because there’s nobody else.

“ah, yes, that’ll stop them, alright...”

I was referring to the mask wearing.

Uh, no.

That’s actually horse shit sir

They are “presuming” a whole lot that just isn’t

That’s the words from Dr. Birx

Dr. Birx saying that the government is recording anyone who dies with coronavirus in the United States, regardless of any other health issue, as a death from coronavirus. pic.twitter.com/p2nIhH4bHP

IDK, but when I worked with chemicals, you covered your eyes and used a real mask or respirator, not a cloth mask. If I need to protect myself from dust, mold spores, aerosols, etc. I cover a lot more than my mouth and nose. Also cover my eyes as well.

From the World Health Organization (WHO): “Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) technical guidance: Laboratory testing for 2019-nCoV in humans” https://bit.ly/3cidWiS

“Several assays that detect the 2019-nCoV have been and are currently under development, both in-house and commercially. Some assays may detect only the novel virus [COVID] and some may also detect other strains (e.g. SARS-CoV) that are genetically similar.”

Translation: Some PCR tests register positive for types of coronavirus that have nothing to do with COVID—including plain old coronas that cause nothing more than a cold.

INTENDED USE

Positive results are indicative of active infection with
2019-nCoV but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected
may not be the definite cause of disease. Laboratories within the United States and its territories are
required to report all positive results to the appropriate public health authorities.

Negative results do not preclude 2019-nCoV infection and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or other patient management decisions.”

Translation: A positive test doesn’t guarantee that the COVID virus is causing infection at all. Then again, maybe the COVID virus isAC not be in the patient’s body either.

Vital Statistics Reference Guidance 03, April 2020(CDC)

See Attachment

Cause-of-Death Reporting
When reporting cause of death on a death certificate, use any
information available, such as medical history, medical records,
laboratory tests, an autopsy report, or other sources of relevant
information. Similar to many other diagnoses, a cause-of-death
statement is an informed medical opinion that should be based
on sound medical judgment drawn from clinical training and
experience, as well as knowledge of current disease states and
local trends (6).

Part I
This section on the death certificate is for reporting the sequence
of conditions that led directly to death. The immediate cause of
death, which is the disease or condition that directly preceded
death and is not necessarily the underlying cause of death
(UCOD), should be reported on line a. The conditions that led
to the immediate cause of death should be reported in a logical
sequence in terms of time and etiology below it.

The UCOD, which is “(a) the disease or injury which initiated
the train of morbid events leading directly to death or (b) the
circumstances of the accident or violence which produced the
fatal injury” (7), should be reported on the lowest line used in
Part I.

I very much doubt that President Trump is ‘in’ on any ‘Scam’. What motive would he have?

I think something very unusual in its virulence came out of China. I think that at first, some people may have legitimately thought that it might be some kind of engineered ‘Bio-Weapon’, and felt the need to take precautions against that.

I’m no scientist, but I tend now to think that it’s just an unusually infectious animal disease - from a lab, a wet market, wherever - that has jumped to humans.

Sorry, but I don’t think the ‘Biotech Industry’ infected us with this - and I hope you find some place to ‘go’.

Now,

Let’s add in the differing ways, means, and methods of reporting. It’s different in each State, in each country. Truth, reality? That’s an entirely different metric. The cauldron stinks of shit, and I will not call it the scent of roses!

You raise a good point in that on many important issues he’s put out tough tweets but then did not follow through with action.
