President Trump said his niece Mary L. Trump “was not exactly a family favorite” and that he and his family “didn’t have a lot of respect or like for her.”
Trump made the comments during an exclusive interview on “Fox News Sunday” a few days after his niece’s tell-all, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” set a first-day record for Simon & Schuster after the publisher said Thursday it sold 950,000 copies, including presales. During the interview Trump called his niece’s book “stupid” and “vicious.”
Host Chris Wallace noted that one of Mary Trump’s “main points” is that she said President Trump’s father Fred Trump Sr. damaged the whole family.
Speaking on ABC News on Thursday she said, “He learned to become the killer you mentioned. The man who needs to succeed at all costs ... who will do anything to get attention, financial rewards and to win.”
During the exclusive interview, Wallace asked President Trump, “Do you see any truth in that?”
“My father liked to win,” Trump said in response. “My father was a very good man. He was a strong man.”
“It’s disgraceful that she said that,” he continued, then noting that she was “not exactly a family favorite” and “we didn’t have a lot of respect or like for her.”
“I would’ve never said that except she writes a book that’s so stupid and so vicious and it’s a lie,” Trump went on to say. “My father was a great, wonderful man.”

By election time, she and her book will be forgotten, and the book will be in the $0.95 "overstock/reduced" bin.
There’s money in trashing Trump, whether it’s true or not. All one needs is a good vantage point to create the aura of credibility, which means having lived or worked near him or, best of all, being a relative. Then anything goes.
I wonder if there will be many buyers, even in the 95 cent bin, for this trash.

A lot of Billy Beer was consumed back in the day. Not because of Billy or the taste but because it was cheap.

Keep in mind there are 100’s of 1000’s of bulk sales in this number, books bought by the campaign and affiliated groups who then offer them to Biden followers as an incentive for them to donate to the Biden effort.

What I want to know is where are the photos of her with Donald and the rest of the Trump family? I couldn’t find any. Pretty strange for a woman who claims she knows a lot about him.
With the full force of the MSM promoting it, and every talking head praising Bolton, the book has dropped from #1 to #10 on Amazon in less than a month. The media blitz is pretty much over, so expect that rank to continue to drop.
For comparison, Eric "That wasn't me" Swalwell's book about the impeachment, which was released about the same time as Bolton's, is currently #28,503 on Amazon.
Apples and oranges, but I believe Swalwell's number is more accurate. No one would go to the time and expense of buying pallet loads of his book to inflate the sales.
