Attorney General William Barr announced the indictment of key members of the MS-13 criminal organization as a result of the ongoing Joint Task Force Vulcan initiative in a press release Thursday.
The attorney general said two deadly MS-13 operatives were charged in the last week. In the Eastern District Court of Virginia, an MS-13 member was indicted on terrorism charges. In the Eastern District Court of New York, meanwhile, the attorney general has filed a notice of intent to seek the death penalty for another gang member who killed seven people in the span of a year. According to the federal report, 21 other gang members were arrested in the last week.
"In 2017, the President directed the Department of Justice to go to war against MS-13, and we did just that," Barr said Thursday. "While there is still work to be done, the Department of Justice remains committed to protecting Americans threatened by MS-13, and we will not rest until we have successfully defeated this transnational criminal organization."
MS-13, or the Mara Salvatrucha gang, is an international criminal organization with up to 50,000 members. The gang is based in Central America, but has a large presence in California, North Carolina, and on Long Island. MS-13 has made headlines for "ultraviolent" enforcement of its drug trafficking and territory holdings. Barr referred to the gang as "one of the most dangerous groups in America" in 2018.

I’m glad they’re arresting MS-13 members.
Can you cite specific federal code that has been violated, along with the mandatory minimum sentences for each offense? Barr is likely to prosecute instances where FISA applications were doctored, but I doubt he will have substance wherewith to hang the major players, much as justice and passions may call for that.
I swear sometimes I think I signed into an old ladies convention instead of the Free Republic website. All of us are sitting home doing nothing but typing while at least MS-13 members are being indicted.
and they are committing terrorist attacks. To say the least. Just because one thing isn’t a done doesn’t mean another thing being done is useless.
What could we be doing? Confronting BLM and antifa marches with the truth. Getting out there and holding our own rallies. But we are not. So I’ll take some satisfaction that somebody is doing something
George Soros didn’t give permission for Barr to do that yet.
Don’t be so negative against people who you have no clue what they’re doing besides sitting behind computers. What is it you think should happen? People going in the streets and putting their life in danger with these freaks and animals out there? Is that what you’re trying to say?
If you are you’re dead wrong ...those animals could care less about truth...what are you going to do wave a piece of paper telling them where they’r wrong? Or carry a banner they’ll just spit on.
These are not protestors out there as most know.....therefore it’s not up to us to stop their madness.

No arrests of anyone associated with the attempted coup.
No indictments.
No accusations.
Hell, some of them weren’t even FIRED!
All we get is an endless, laughable PUT-OFF, waiting for some “report” while they hope that Trump loses the election.
