Florida was running out of ICU beds at numerous hospitals Wednesday as COVID-19 cases continued to pile up by the tens of thousands and the Trump administration appeared powerless to stop it.
In Oklahoma, Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican who caught flak for posting a photo of himself eating with his kids in a crowded restaurant while COVID-19 was spreading through his state, announced Wednesday that he had tested positive for the virus.

Is this to stop the GOP convention? Heard that testing results/stats in FL were questionable
No Florida doesnt. Lordy how the msm loves to lie
oh STFU I am done with their lying crap. Neighbour works at a hospital and said the numbers are inflated. Then we see a report of certain labs lying about their number. F off NBC and you lying media
yes as soon as the convention was to be here the media and the flu strain suddenly went up
I am sick of hearing from politicians about how we can’t risk a child’s life and hearing about how dangerous you are to your parents when five most populated states helped get inflated death counts via nursing homes.
Its nuts. It turns out that the Health Dept in Florida was lying about the cases (overstating hugely, changing 9.8% positives to 98%, for example). As for the ICU beds, I havent seen anything about a shortage. The hospitals are busy, but thats because there is a huge backlog of surgeries and treatments that are just hitting the hospitals now, and a lot of people who have serious procedures are in the ICU for at least a while before being moved to a different ward.
Exactly!
They are questionable. Fox35 out of Orlando has found a couple labs with 100% and 98% positivity rates and is investigating. That was yesterday. I continue to monitor India with 1.4 billion people that have poor hygene and social distancing skills, yet just passed 24,000 dead from covid. I wonder why.
imagine if everyone who had flu antibodies was counted as a flu death, including someone in a car crash. How inflated would those numbers be? That’s how they count COVID deaths.
Yeah, but how do they count it? That’sounds the big issue because the numbers are inflated from the counting methods in the United States.
I have one consistent question about ICU bed shortages. Is it a result of the virus or from treatment for other illnesses and conditions being set aside for so long?
I go to running in the early morning and I see the local high school x country team training. They are about 60 of them and I am now told school cannot open, and I am supposed to believe these fake numbers
The numbers do not support the anecdotal——
I started tracking the number of new hospitalizations of COVID patients in Florida.
Jul 1 = 325
Jul 2 = 341
Jul 3 = 244
Jul 4 = 160
Jul 5 = 150
Jul 6 = 380
Jul 7 = 333
Jul 8 = 409
Jul 9 = 435
Jul 10 = 421
Jul 11 = 248
Jul 12 = 227
Jul 13 = 383
Jul 14 = 453
There are over 60,000 hospital beds in Florida.
“....Florida faces ICU bed shortage as coronavirus cases pass 300,000...”
300,000 “cases” is absolutey meaningless. The only thing that matters is how many people are sick enough to require hospitalization.
LIES!
yes as soon as the convention was to be here the media and the flu strain suddenly went up!
Yes and as soon as President Trump said he was going to have rallies again the cases went up the next week!!! This is totally BS the whole left wing Media and their allies The Democratic Party!!!
I should have added there are over 5,000 ICU beds in Florida.
Yeah, strange coincidence that.
Ive been saying since the start, the thing you need watch is hospital capacity. Cases, deaths, etc. dont matter. If you get real sick and there are no beds for you....watch out.
