I want to know what laws are they breaking? What is this prosecutor charging them with? I thought it was legal to bear arms. I thought that state allowed you to protect your property? Does anyone know what they could possibly charge them with? Why was confiscating their guns allowed? What were the grounds for that? Is there any rule they broke? Or is it just a rogue prosecutor?
DA Kim Gardner is a Soros-owned puppet. I checked the campaign disclosures. She got $100s of thousands from a Soros group in DC.
The couple in question is a pair of personal injury lawyers. Lawyers are often, but not always liberal. Does anyone know how they lean? (Sure, I could go to the past political contributions site, but that requires a modicum of effort.)
The irony here would be if they were liberals who got mugged (or almost mugged, to be more precised) by BLM leftists.
Gov. Parsons is an empty suit. Derail him at his next election.
The ONLY problem I see from what did was leveling his rifle and she pointing her handgun at the protester/rioters...I think maybe he shouldve held his AR at port arms position and she couldve pointed the pistol upward...
Thats only thing I can see they could be charged with...
Since it would appear that anything they would be charged with at this point would be alleged violations of Missouri State Law, why can’t the Governor just issue a blanket pardon for any alleged crimes relative to that incident? I’m assuming the Governor has that power in the State of MO?
She’s very much a Soros, rogue prosecutor who is claiming the couple were not under threat and I assume the charge would be brandishing weapons.
But they of course were very clearly in fear of their lives and the mob had invaded private property.
MO has a castle doctrine law - I don’t think you have to be inside your house to defend your property.
They haven't been charged with anything yet but speculation is that unlawful use of a weapon is the most likely.
Scaring the Marxist snowflakes???
“What is this prosecutor charging them with? “
He resigned his office in exchange for dropping of the two charges. She is now under investigation for serious irregularities in her cases against Greitens. Of course she claims the charges are ‘racist’. She might well win reelection.
Even in conservative states like MO, you have liberal cities who elect prosecutors who make it their business to go after conservatives elected to statewide office.
marching for racial equality what B/S Fox
Racketeering, support of terrorism and violation of interstate commerce if the lawyer had out of state clients.
What’s wrong with the Republican Governor? Doesn’t he have a set of balls? If this isn’t a Federal case, why should President Trump get involved? This is a State issue. The Governor needs to do his job.
The prosecutor is totally unfair, and has already decided that the innocent couple is guilty. If Trump had the power, he should haul the prosecutor off to prison for life for trying to destroy the lives of an innocent couple.
The Governor of Missouri should have.
They can charge them with anything. Most likely brandishing. I’m not going to look at the tape again but I recall the wife pointing her handgun (with her finger on the trigger) at the protesters. She could be charged with assault for that. If the husband pointed his rifle at the protestors, he could be too. Their firearms are evidence. Not suggesting I agree, but you asked. From a non lawyer, there’s probably more.
With all of the death and destruction that has plagued St. Louis over the past few months, including the murder of David Dorn, you would think that this DA would have a full plate of cases to prosecute, yet somehow the lawful actions of this couple have made it to the top of her list.
Anyone with a single-digit IQ that the DA is simply trying to make an example out of this couple as a warning to any other self-defense advocates with this malicious prosecution.
I hope that this couple's legal experience will make them a much tougher opponent for the DA than she anticipated, and she will end up looking foolish for choosing to 'die on this hill'.
Who took the video? Did I miss that somewhere?
It is a private gated community. Each property has a private easement on which Portland Place was built and provides access for all the homeowners.
