They sound like Leftists. They act like Leftists. And now we learn that the Never-Trumper group called The Lincoln Project is funded by a Leftist billionaire, according to a new book on the subject.
And a collective Oh, it all makes sense to me now! just spread over the land.
The project features, among others, GOP political strategists Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt, the Washington Posts conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin, former Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol, and disgruntled attorney, George Mr. Kellyanne Conway, who spends nearly all of his time trying to ruin his wifes White House career.
Judging by their antics, the anti-Trump collective is like a latter-day mix of political saboteur Donald Segretti, lawless Yippie Abbie Hoffman, yellow gossip columnist Walter Winchell and political monkey-wrencher Saul Alinsky. Their goal is to do everything they can to cost Donald Trump the White House in 2020 in order to burn the GOP brand. So thats why theyre supporting Joe Biden.

In her new book, Disloyal Opposition: How the NeverTrump Right Tried―And Failed―To Take Down the President, reporter Julie Kelly looks into this group of out of work and out of favor politicos left on the sidelines after a Trump 2016 victory. She wonders how they got the money to begin their political monkeywrenching operation against Trump after the Weekly Standard, a reliable home for the Resistance, went bust.

Kelly assembled the pieces of the Kristol and company money machine puzzle and winds up with a picture of a Silicon Valley billionaire. She depicts the relationship as one of basically paymaster and servant.
Kristol and most of his NeverTrump cohorts are on the dole of a left-wing philanthropist generously underwriting any cause or influencer committed to ending the Trump presidency.

The Left advances 30 pieces of silver at a time.
They just don’t get it! No matter how much they spend attacking Trump, we will vote for him. Maybe not because we like his communications style, but because of his conservative results. He is the only president in my lifetime to actively try to keep his campaign promises, and where he does not receive interference from congress or the courts he has succeeded in keeping them.
Wonder if a lawyer could sue for all the damages his payments to the “protestors” caused.......... just asking for a friend.
Well they gotta make money somehow.
Read this from MRC:
“Wilson actually flinched when, after the fact that the Lincoln Project spent over 89% of its money on overhead (including salaries) was brought up, one of the cartoon characters noted that “89.3% on overhead sounds like a lot but I can’t get into the right head space to make a ten second ad without wolfing down endangered mollusks in a titanium catamaran with my Bush administration buddies.”
Free money baby.
“Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt, the Washington Posts conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin, former Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol, and disgruntled attorney, George Mr. Kellyanne Conway”
What a bunch of losers!
They have to be funded.
Some of knew better ... YEARS ago.
So glad I seldom use ebay - from here on out, it will be never. And as others have posted, these folks are just pi$$ing into the wind.
Presstitutes.
Not only that, but 89% of the money collected the 'the Lincoln Project' goes to salaries and 'perks' for the deadbeats running the place.
Yeah, these people are disgusting.
The thing to remember is they have NEVER been “conservatives.”
They adopted front-positions of conservatives as long as they knew they would never have to defend actual legislation or executive orders. As long as their “conservative” positions had no chance of being enacted, they could “espouse” them in their media appearances and cocktail parties, but at the end of the night they could slap shoulders, wink and nod, and KNOW it was all just an intellectual exercise.
Once Trump came in and actual DID something, they had to reveal themselves. Evil spoogemonkey spermsnutcher, bilgepucker, douchesloggers.
Wonder if this includes Romney as well.
I don’t think “The Lincoln Project” is accurate. I think it is more a homage to the “Lincoln Battalion”. That was the American international communists in the Spanish Civil War.
Just like Antifa is the homage to the radical German Communists who fought the NAZI’s in the 1930’s.
Now it is just the communists vs. America.
(A prefab lie is that it is either one or the other now: Antifa or American NAZI’s
This is what is pushed by the media endlessly. Instead it was 2 very bad actors in WW2-Communists vs. Fascist Socialsts.
America was and is the third option: Freedom of the individual and government subordinate to the citizens.) God Bless America

Thanks GOPJ.
And those are their good qualities.
Useful article, but poorly written: 6-7 short little one-sentence paragraphs and still no name of the “billionaire”!
eBay, Google, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook .... Do you see any pattern here?
Iranian heritage born in Paris. Real name is not Pierre.
