Jeff should just recuse himself, sooner rather than later.

Sessions shamelessness is made up for by his inflated ego.

He cost the country years of time.

“has...unproven record”

That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Tuberville is soft on immigration. Regardless of his failure as AG, Jeff was Great senator, and I will be voting for him

“Mr. Trumptweeted, while urging voters to back former Auburn football coach...”

Trumptweeted is now a word?

I like Sessions because he’s reliable on immigration. Tuberville is new to politics so we have no idea how much dirt Doug Jones has on him. Possibly enough for a late hit to move the needle in Jones’s favor. Tuberville should either run for a House seat or some statewide office before going for the Senate at a pivotal moment like this.

I hope the benefit is worth the risk of getting overly involved.

I wish Trump would have stayed out of this primary. I get that he is disappointed in Sessions’ terrible performance as AG; but if Sessions wins, Trump will then have to back Sessions after having trashed him in favor of his opponent. The bad blood could even turn Sessions into a never-Trumper on important Senate votes.

Either Tuberville or Sessions is far better than Jones. Unless we’re looking at a dirtbag RINO on the level of Romney, I wish President Trump would stay neutral the primaries.

How can Sessions even be under serious consideration?

Someone should tell PDJT to trust the plan.

AG Sessions had a choice to make.

Do I protect President Trump and do my job

OR

Do I go along with the deep state uniparty plan to remove him from office.

We all know which path Gutless Sessions took. He protected the uniparty.

Yes, we here in Alabama have a big election for the GOP candidate to go stomp the liberal, baby murdering agree-er Jones, into the ground!!! We wound up with Jones after the Judge Moore mess, when most of the GOP side stayed home. I voted for Moore to keep Jones out of the Senate, but it did not matter in the end as Moore lost. Now, we need to pay Jones back for lost years. We HAVE to keep the Senate. Taking back this seat would be a step in the right direction for that!! Sessions ran cover for the deepstate when he was AG, giving them time to regroup, cover their tracks, and come up with a new strategy.

Sessions knew he was going to recuse himself but never told Trump so Trump could re-evaluate his options.

He put “Sessions First” (his SINFUL SELFISH DESIRE to be AG) instead of “America First”.

By doing so, he put America and Americans in dangerous peril from the Marxists.

Our President fights tirelessly for us. The communists have put him through hell, aided by this arrogant, selfish bastard. Trump has repeatedly asked Alabamians to keep Sessions OUT of Wash., D.C. The least Alabamians can do is respect and support his request.

Mr. Jones rode a torrent of out-of-state money and scandals engulfing his GOP opponent to win a special election in 2017

And the author forgot to mention the OpenAI computer /tech folks that played the "role of Russia" in election meddling in that election...

SNIP >>>Hoffman-financed groups — New Knowledge (NK) and American Engagement Technologies (AET) — allegedly used social media in 2017 to undermine support for Republican Roy Moore’s senatorial campaign and boosted his opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, who narrowly won the race. Jones has since publicly called for an investigation into the caper. Operatives involved in the ploy created thousands of Twitter accounts posing as Russian bots in order to boost Jones. There is evidence the campaign caused a splash. Major media outlets — both in Alabama and nationally — fell for the gambit and amplified the false narrative in October 2017.------- ----Tech Billionaire Allegedly Behind A False Flag Operation Played A Role In Creating Fake News...,Daily Caller ^ | 2/24/19 | Chris White

There's a famous novel out by Thomas Hardy about Senate candidate Tommy Tuberville called "Test of the d'Tubervilles".

Tuberville is also a storied former football player and coach. He won the Bear Bryant "Coach of the Year" award when his Auburn team won the Sugar Bowl in 2004.

He is also with a group that provides entertainment tours for deployed U. S. Servicemen.

He should win over the mousy Sessions in a walk.

The above play on words (re: the famous Hardy novel, "Tess of the d'Urbervilles") was a pun, of course. Just havin' fun today. The name "Tuberville" fascinated me and I looked it up. It's old, old English from the Norman Conquest times).

Don’t live in AL so I can’t vote. But I have only ONE person that I trust completely and that is our President. If he doesn’t want Sessions, then I don’t want Sessions. Yes, Sessions was a good Senator and, yes, he did support Trump early. But when he betrayed Trump by not informing him of his intention to act in a way that Sessions thought honorable, he acted DIShonorably, and he lost me totally. I want honorable men in the senate and that’s NOT Sessions. Trump has enough trouble with the left and with RINOs. Give Trump what Trump asks for. If we can’t do that, who will? Trump, YES! Sessions, NO!

Sessions has no balls. He might have had them at one time, but he let them go.

This clown proves the Peter Principle.
