"I'm going to do a big executive order. I have the power to do it as president and I'm going to make DACA a part of it," Trump responded....Asked whether the executive order would provide temporary relief for DACA recipients, Trump said its scope would be much wider..."But one of the aspects of the bill is going to be DACA. We're going to have a road to citizenship," he [Trump] added.

Sounds to me like he’s snookering the Dems. I suspect mentioning the possibility of an ‘Executive Order’ was a swipe at SCOTUS— he said BILL. This will come from the Senate or House Republicans with some common sense immigration reforms that the Donks will reject, so they will be seen as pissing on their own base.
Based on numerous personal friendships I say B.S. on the values orientation. And when you inform them that many Republican candidates more closely align with their values, and the Democrats are anathema to their religious pro-life positions, they vote Republican. Actually, because of my late wife, about 75% of our friends were Hispanic. Just like people on this site and political polls, we tend not to believe them, instead go by personal experience.
DACA recipients: 800,000 estimated
North Dakota: 762,062
South Dakota: 884,659
Nice try, first of all, he hasn’t done anything yet. Hes doing his usual beat the Dems w/ their own issue. SCOTUS just said he can do this so hes going to do something big right before the election that will remove one of the Dems big issue. Get legislative compromises? Where have you been the last 3 and a half years? He cant get help from his own party with his agenda, let alone the Dems.
I certainly won’t be voting for Trump or Kanye, that’s for darn sure!
>>Guess he wants to lose.<<
Go vote for Biden then.
Theres a third option that keeps being forgotten...
Great virtue signaling. Prez !
We NEED the good hardworking catholic Hispanic vote ! Big time !
Lose his base to what?
This past week Trump has really gone out of his way to get the Latino vote. I hope he is successful.
Doesn’t matter to the concern tolls - they can only focus on 1 thought at a tome and have no idea of how this is the right thing to do because the previous regimes have set up de facto conditions for an extended period of time...if they had any such set of circumstances themselves, they’d be howling at even being put under the rules and conditions of this “amnesty” they will tear their clothes over.
Re: “This past week Trump has really gone out of his way to get the Latino vote. I hope he is successful.”
Useless.
He tried the same DACA tease in 2018.
69% of Latinos voted for a Democrat Congressional candidate, and we lost the House.

Reagan explained it perfectly 50 years ago - no matter how far Left a Republican moves, no Democrat will ever vote for him.
All this does is demoralize the core Conservatives who elected Trump in 2016.
To apathy.
If we’re going to surrender the country and become North Mexico, why bother?
>>Theres a third option that keeps being forgotten...<<
Not voting is a vote for Biden.
What a bull shit response. You never supported Trump, did ya?
Enthusiastically.
He said they all have to go home.
We could have gotten amnesty from Yeb!
Do you know specifically what his plan is?
No, I’m waiting to see what he does.
No, Im waiting to see what he does.
After reviewing your two very conflicting statements you made above, and other comments, I'd guess your mind is pretty much made up.
Watch what he does, not what he says. He is talking about amnesty. He better not do it.
If he does accommodate illegal aliens and does not restore the rule of law he will lose my support.
Same as Bush did in 2005.
Oh, you mean like this.
