If I “give up on Trump” (which I’d almost rather die than do), it will only be due to the fact that he richly deserves it.
If he really wants to do something as stupid as this, then one has to wonder what other unnecessary, unprincipled policies are waiting for us in his 2nd term.
Think about this: He unveiled this a few months before the election. Why? Why was this not done earlier? Or hell, later on in his 2nd term when he wouldn’t have to worry about re-election? He’s not doing it out of principle. It’s NOT the right thing to do. He’s pandering because he thinks it won’t lose him enough votes to matter. He’s playing with fire.
I don't have a problem with Trump working out a deal for children of illegals. Hell, many of these DACA kids would probably be more patriotic than the white soy-boy ANTIFA types who are tearing up s--t.
The Dems have the House and SCOTUS has ruled repeatedly against Trump. What do you want him to do?
Demographics aren’t going to change with DACA. We are already going to be a majority Hispanic country in a decade. Thankfully, they are trending conservative. From what I’ve seen, most are really not happy about the savages rioting across America.
