PRINCETON, N.J. — Donald Trump's favorable rating among Republicans dropped from 69% to 64% in the fallout after The Washington Post released a 2005 video in which he made lewd comments about women, and after the second presidential debate on Sunday night. Trump's unfavorable rating ticked up slightly from 30% to 33%. There was virtually no change in Trump's already poor image among independents or Democrats.

Hillary Clinton over the past five days has seen her favorable rating rise from 81% to 84% among Democrats, but take a slightly negative turn among independents, from 35% to 32%. Clinton herself has been the focus of news events, including WikiLeaks-released transcripts of emails involving Clinton, her campaign strategy and Wall Street speeches. Gallup polling finds that debate watchers saw Clinton as the winner of Sunday night's debate.

Trump : only 64% approval with Republican voters.
Hilary : a very healthy 84% approval with Dem voters.
Trump was surely doomed right?
With only 3 weeks to go to the elections, three was surely no time left to recover right?
THANK YOU!
The “pearl clutching” has been out of hand on FR lately.
So you’re saying Joe Biden will crush Trump? Lol

Trump’s support is stronger than ever.
For as long as I can remember, the Republican candidate is always "in trouble" in the summer. As we get closer, the polls tighten.
This could be an unintended consequence of the “pandemic” a friend of ours, who a couple of years ago was so.proud of herself obtaining a beautician license, drastically cut back on her work to home school her kids who are in elementary school. At first it was a monumental challenge for her but even if schools here re open she plans on continuing to home school. Fortunately she’s blessed with two very smart kids, but I wonder how many more parents will opt to home school?
Gallup has hated Trump since he came down the escalator!
