The really bad numbers for Biden in the Iowa Caucuses results: Scott Rasmussen
Fox News ^ | February 07, 2020 | By Matt London |

As the Iowa Democratic Party sorts out the final results of their caucuses earlier this week, pollster Scott Rasmussen said that one thing is for certain — it was a real bad night for former Vice President Joe Biden.

“Look, we have something at Ballotpedia, we call ‘pivot counties.’ These are the counties that went twice for Obama and then voted for Trump,” he explained.

“In those 31 counties that contain people Democrats want to win back, you would think Joe Biden, having been on the ticket with Obama, would do really well,” said Rasmussen.

“[Biden] won just one of those 31 'pivot counties'” in Iowa, he revealed.

Rasmussen argued that there is a greater likelihood of a brokered convention this year, raising the possibility that Bloomberg wins the Democratic party nomination.

“If it ends up being Bloomberg, let me tell you something,” added Smith. “You don't know anything about Bernie Sanders voters if you think that those people are going to rally behind Mike Bloomberg. Now, that is just not going to happen.”

Rasmussen nodded in agreement.

Little Mike might just buy an election with 15 billion dollars...plus the money he would give the democrats running in the senate and house..

Bloomberg is trying to buy the presidency. Democrats are supposedly against all the big money in politics. Will they pick Bloomberg in a brokered convention? Will primary voters support him if they really resent someone buying his way in?

IA is in the bag for Trump. Democrats still don’t have a candidate that can appeal statewide.

Look for Joni Ernst to be easily re-elected.

Dirty politics, spying, lying FIB, FISA court fraud, counterintelligence lap dogs, and a case for impeachment built on all of that, HAS CONSEQUENCES.

If Bloomberg gets the nomination will he put Bernie on the ticket to appease his supporters?

The analysis presented here seems to be all wrong. I would think Bloomberg's only chance to win the nomination is to win it outright, not get it through a brokered convention.

It seems to me that a brokered convention raises the more likely prospect that the Democratic Party nominee would be someone who isn't even in the race right now.

He has already bought the DNC.

That is something to watch out for. That ticket could be trouble especially on the down ballot.

I feel strange thinking the next sentence:

Bloomberg is a real threat.

Strange because he’s such a non-entity.

But scary because of all that money.

A threat because of all that money.

Bloomberg is a threat.

Maybe. Not likely. I can't imagine anyone would give a long-time loser a third chance at the table.

John Kerry might be a more likely prospect. His odds of winning would be slim, but he probably wouldn't damage the Democratic Party's prospects in Senate and House races too much.

Democrat faithful will not allow mini mike to steal this from Bernie, won’t happen. Their convention attendees have moved far Left as well as their primary voters.
