Harvard University has announced it will implement online learning for all courses during the coming academic year, while tuition for the Ivy League school will remain about $50,000.
Up to 40 percent of undergraduate students will be cleared to live on campus this fall, including all incoming freshmen, according to a statement posted Monday on Harvards website. All Harvard seniors will be allowed to return to campus in the spring semester, with freshmen returning home. However, even those students who choose to live on campus will be required to take part in online instruction.

No face to face time with profs. Cut back on cleaning and maintenance services. Defund the campus cops since fewer people will be on campus. But lets keep that tuition money coming in.
Go read up on Lothrop Stoddard (Harvard PhD) and Edward Ross from Stanford...
$50,000 a year to have your children turned against you and your country........
I wonder if the indoctrination will be as effective with online learning, because that is largely absent the social influence component.
You know, Harvard has an endowment fund of $41 billion.
I checked, and it seems the larger the endowment fund, the higher the tuition that is charged.
I wonder what’s up with that.
If people weren't willing to pay the price, the price would change.
” I would leave for a year and do some coursework at a local state school and save money.”
Having a degree from an ivy league school is normally a pass to print money. Harvard will not accept or transfer hours gained at some other, cheaper university. You would have to retake those courses at Harvard to get credit towards graduation from Harvard. (This is true for most schools regarding courses taken at other schools.)
I think that a college degree is simply not worth it anymore. Schools will not flunk out failing students. They simply pass them. (I witnessed this directly as the hiring manager who then called a teacher who had passed a “student of color” who had no knowledge whatsoever about the subject.)
If you want a particular job, say Program Manager or Quality Engineer, you must join a professional organization who will then test you and certify you in that profession. You must then take/pay-for continuing credit hours for your entire career to maintain that certification. These courses are not cheap, so, yes, it’s a moneymaker for the organization. A college degree is no longer acceptable without independent verification by a society specific to that job type. This is because of the low quality of some college graduates.
When do the BLM marxists attack?
I trekked around Harvard over 20 years ago, and noticed only one pretty female student in a few hours
Cute Asian babe
All the rest were average or mostly <
Texas State Univ. is charging an extra fee of $50/sem hr for online courses. It’s all about the $$$$.
Theodore Lothrop Stoddard (June 29, 1883 May 1, 1950) was an American white supremacist historian, journalist, and political scientist. Stoddard wrote several books which advocated eugenics and scientific racism, including The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy (1920).

don’t know much about Ross- i did run across something that said he later retracted his racist views- don’t know if it’s true- but in the cancel culture society of today- that ‘shouldn’t matter’ because they get people fired for saying something 40 years ago- but if he was a liberal, they will excuse his racism by claiming ‘he apologized’
Just saw on the back of a book of matches: Get the Harvard degree you deserve’ Only $100,000 a year for on-line courses.
Wow, $50k.
But not to worry, a whole $1k will go to real education for your chilluns.
ummm...just how exactly does that work?
sounds like an expensive web site to me
How do you take tests without cheating???
Hackers will have the online site compromised withing a few days and offer the various courses to the public for FREE.. or for a mere pittance of their planned $50,000 tuition.
“Harvard is the new University of Phoenix.”
Hey, hey, the U of PHoenix still has some standards.
And none of their grads killed a woman while driving drunk and then pretended that it didn’t happen.

It's not nearly as "ray-ciss" as supposed, except by knee-jerk definitions; it's more concerned about White Countries being drowned *demographically*. Almost like today's left is using it, like they are 1984, as an Instruction Manual.
