The only evidence of collusion found in General Flynns phone calls was between the Obama administration and anti-Israel forces at the United Nations. BY BRENT NAGTEGAAL JULY 2
One month before President Barack Obama left the White House, the United States infamously broke with its historic precedent of supporting Israel at the United Nations, an institution with systemic bias against the Jewish state. Collective applause erupted in the UN hall when U.S. Ambassador Samantha Powers raised her hand to allow passage of Resolution 2334, which called any Israeli settlement in the land occupied by Jordan before 1967 as illegal. According to the resolution, Israelis living in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem were criminal squatters.
By not vetoing the anti-Israel resolution, Israels greatest ally chose to side with Israel bashers instead of the Jewish state.
As bad as that decision was, we now know that President Obama was lobbying for an even harsher measure against Israel. But it was stopped in its tracks after pressure from Russia.
Proof of the anti-Israel measure surfaced recently in the most unlikely of places.
In late May, transcripts of phone calls between incoming Trump National Security Adviser Gen. Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were declassified by the U.S. government in defense of Flynn. The phone calls were used by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to justify continuing an investigation in the Trump campaign for collusion with Russia. However, the content of the discussions mostly revolved around the Obama administrations anti-Israel resolution at the UN.
In the days leading up to the Dec. 23, 2016, vote, Israel had reached out to the Trump team to do what it could to slow down the resolution, after the Obama administration refused to say it would use its veto. Flynn, and many others in the transition team, made calls to the other members of the Security Council to see if they would veto or vote down the resolution.
On December 22, Flynn called Kislyak to see how Russia intended to vote. Kislyak said that Russia intended to support the resolution: So, we will try to help to give additional time for the conversation on this issue. But if it is put on vote, for historical reasons, as I explained to you, we cannot vote other than to support it.
Flynn transcript from December 22 That same day, President-elect Donald Trump himself called Egyptian President Abdel Fatal al-Sisi to ask him to withdraw the resolution. Egypt, who then held the rotating Arab seat on the Security Council, did withdraw the resolution. However, a day later, New Zealand and three others put forward a similar resolution that would pass: unsc 2334.
After the resolution passed, President-elect Trump tweeted Stay strong Israel, reminding it that his January 20 inauguration was fast approaching.
However, it turns out that Israel had plenty to worry about in the remaining four weeks of Obamas lame-duck administration.
Israels UN Ambassador Danny Dannon had caught wind that the U.S. was planning another more forceful action against Israel at the UN. In fact, the Obama administration had begun colluding with other members of the Council to see whether the U.S. could garner the necessary support.
While the exact contents of the resolution are unknown, a source told the Jerusalem Post last month that it would have forced parameters of a peace agreement upon Israel and the Palestinians, which would include a time frame for creating a Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines. This would have been a natural followup to Resolution 2334, which had just called Israels occupation of that land illegal.
Immediately, Dannon informed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the Obama administrations plan. According to the Jerusalem Post, the prime minister called Russian President Vladimir Putin as well as President-elect Trump to lobby against the forthcoming measure.
On Dec. 29, 2016, the Russian ambassador called Flynn to inform him that Russia would not support the new resolution that Obama was pushing for.
We wanted to convey to you and through you to the president-elect that we had significant reservations about the idea of adopting now the principles for the Middle East that our American colleagues are pushing for. So we are not going to support it toin the quartet, or in the Security Council. And we have conveyed to our American colleagues. So in the spirit of full transparency, I was asked to inform you as well. So its not something that weRussiaare going to support.
Flynn transcript from December 29 As the call relates, Russia had informed the Obama administration that it would not support its new resolution. This meant that the new attack against Israel was dead in the water, which is likely why the resolution never came forward.
Both the Russian Foreign Ministry and Obamas U.S. ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, have denied the reports of this secondary measure. However, the timing of the Flynn phone call with Kislyak after Resolution 2334 had already passed shows that there was a more forceful measure in the offing, and so sinister that even Russia would not go for it.
Russia defended the State of Israel against the hostile U.S. administration at the United Nations. Traditionally, the U.S. has stood up for the Jewish state. But in this case, the U.S. led the attack.
The Obama administrations hostility toward Israel was evident to many at the time. Now, almost four years later, more information is surfacing to expose just how deep that hatred was.
However, these latest revelations should come as no surprise for readers of the Trumpet. In the March 2016 issue, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry showed the spiritual dimension behind President Obamas broad anti-Israel measures.
Mr. Flurry contrasted President Obamas favorable words toward Israel with the policy decisions designed to cause Israel harm. Mr. Flurry also showed how that two-faced policy was similar to one employed by Antiochus Epiphanes, the ancient Jewish states foremost enemy. He wrote, You had better be afraid when people start believing the words of an Antiochus! We have to realize that the whole movement in the U.S. from the top is about destruction! The Bible characterizes Antiochus as a son of perdition, or destruction. There isnt anything except a lot of deceit and lies.
This secret secondary hit against Israel is another example of the lies and deceit of the Obama administration. The U.S. betrayal of the Jewish state is almost too shocking to believe. However, it makes sense when you understand the deeper motivation driving President Obama. To understand how a United States president could be so hostile to Israel, please read Mr. Flurrys article What Inspires President Obamas Relationship With Israel?
What did they expect from a dyed in the wool antisemitic commie Ahole?
Biden is no better.
This actually reflects very poorly on the Trump transition team.
Say what you want about the mutants in the Obama administration, but there is absolutely no reason for a U.S. citizen -- especially a member of an incoming administration -- to be working with foreign governments to undermine a U.S. vote at the United Nations.
If John Kerry was doing this, we'd be calling for his execution here on FR.
So you believe the incoming team should wait for inauguration day to start picking up the phones and introducing themselves to world leaders?
The ultimate goal of Hillary and Obama-Che in the so called Arab Spring was to topple Jordan. Jordan was the crown jewel of Obama-Ches strategy, it was next after Syria -were they failed. By treaty Jordanian forces police the Temple Mount. Cause enough chaos in Jordan and their authority/presents at the Temple Mount comes into question, with that the entire Middle East explodes against Israel.
you forgot your /sarc tag
Policy to dump on Israel directed by Iranian Valerie Jarrett, dutifully implemented by the White Hut Cuck Oobomma.
No. But I do believe that the incoming team has no business serving as errand-boys for foreign nations that are opposed to what our duly-elected government leaders are doing.
If a foreign country has a problem with the way the U.S. government is treating them in an international body like the United Nations, the proper venue to address this is through our U.N. ambassador, or the White House.
Petulant Obama went after Flynn, because he figured Flynn was responsible for killing his - Obama’s - last diplomatic attack on Israel. It didn’t help Flynn that the deep state was going to help Obama go after Flynn, as they knew Flynn wanted to audit the intelligence agencies.
Sooooo.... what is being done about it?
At the time, the White House and Presidency were usurped and held by US enemies. The WH was occupied by essentially a foreign power. Israel was backed into a corner with harsh fundamental changes lurking.
Hat-tip to Bibi, Trump transition and Russia.
Oh, I see. I didn't realize that. Thanks for clarifying that.
/heavy sarcasm off/
P.S. -- It's 2020 and this country still has to deal with the idiocy that this "foreign power" imposed on us in the form of ObamaCare (to cite just one example). Does this mean the White House and Presidency are still held by enemies?

obama is black
He’s a Muslim, Jim.

While I understand your problem with this kind of interference, and I would probably be someone on FR attacking Kerry for doing it, bear in mind that Obama’s machinations were occurring less than one month away from the installation of the new administration and if successful, the resolution could have posed significant, long term problems for the incoming president.
In other words, Flynn’s intervention might not had been justifiable except in the light of an eleventh hour attempt by Obama to effective sabotage Trump and tie his hands. So in this context I don’t see Flynn’s actions as being completely unwarranted.
And I think most other incoming administrations might well have done the same thing under the same circumstances.
You have a point, but:
1. It’s a weird system that we have, with the long delay before inauguration. I wonder what the practice has been for transitions over the past 200 years. I would put more stock in the actual practice than the dubious Logan Act. As you know John Kerry was doing this after he left power, and Ted Kennedy was attempting to collude during an election, both of which really do undermine the US.
2. As much as I believe the anti-Israel motivations of the Obama team, I think the whole reason for this last minute flurry of anti-Israel activity was precisely to lay a pretext for a Logan Act accusation so that they could get warrants top cover over the illegal spying they were doing during the campaign.
So the purpose of attacking Israel was merely to undermine the incoming administration. And it worked.
Hey genius. This is accepted work for an incoming administration. Since you brought up Kerry, he is still working with the Iranians to undermine the US. Take your diatribe somewhere else.
