As face masks become a societal norm, many people are speaking out against those who are choosing not to wear them, and some critics say that wearing a mask may determine how smart you are.
John Lundin, a self-described environmental activist and author, recently tweeted, A mask is not a political statement. Its an IQ test. His tweet was met with many comments of support.
A recent Gallup/Knight Foundation poll that asked, In the past 7 days, how often did you wear a mask or cloth face covering outside your home? showed that 30% of high school graduates, 41% of college graduates and 46% of postgraduates always wear masks.

And it is a political statement. You only have to see on social media where avatars with a face mask (whether the avi is a cartoon or real picture) are more likely to be leftist.

If you improperly or reuse your masks (cloth or disposable) then you have compromised any benefit to keep from getting disease.
When people go to restaurants and take of their masks, where do they put them? around their neck, in their pockets, on the table, or throw them away?

Actually, the oxygen deprivation that is documented by OSHA says those that wear masks for extended times sufer brain damage, therefore, one could say wearing masks makes one stupid.

You are absolutely correct. The problem is the wearing of masks is being FORCED on us. I do not see any mandates saying we CANNOT wear masks.
I believe this is what everyone is upset about, about the control.
Being a big, freedom-lovin' macho man doesn't give him the right to frighten an elderly woman. He most likely had to put on a mask to see his physician, so why not in the elevator in the medical building?
What the hell would this have cost him?
Macho man invited comment when he offered "no one can tell me to wear a mask".

My dental hygienist wears a mask and a face shield all year round. I think the same thing when I see people going into restaurants here. How do they eat?
Well... my wife and I went for a hike in the middle of the National Forest here in Virginia the other week. There was a couple, maybe in their early 20s... wearing masks... in the middle of the forest with no one around... and they wouldnt pass us when we stopped to rest. They huddled behind us about 15 years away the whole time we made our way up the mountain...
