As face masks become a societal norm, many people are speaking out against those who are choosing not to wear them, and some critics say that wearing a mask may determine how smart you are.
John Lundin, a self-described environmental activist and author, recently tweeted, “A mask is not a political statement. It’s an IQ test.” His tweet was met with many comments of support.
A recent Gallup/Knight Foundation poll that asked, “In the past 7 days, how often did you wear a mask or cloth face covering outside your home?” showed that 30% of high school graduates, 41% of college graduates and 46% of postgraduates always wear masks.

The left always does this.
They attribute their politics with intelligence. It is a ruse to not have to deal with ideas they disagree with.
(Note: I am in favor of using a mask in crowded places, but respect your right to not do so. I’d never call you names for disagreeing)
Everyone tries so hard to come up with reasons not to wear masks.
There are the mask bullies. Then there are the anti mask bullies.
The extremes on either side tend to be dogmatic morons. YOUR individual conditions should drive your decisions.
This is not difficult, people.
Just keep that in mind when this is done. It could get you in trouble. Ha ha.
I actually don’t care about a mask. We live rural and typically wear one when shopping and except when home or driving. I don’t fret about what people think. With a mask on you can lip say anything you want about others.
Actually N95 masks will protect you from others if you have one and wear it. The N95s types with an exhaust trapdoor outlet will not protect others. The gestapo lied to us as they didn’t want average people wearing N95s and reducing supply, but everyone already knows that.

I went the dentists office that had a sign that says “mask required”..... a dentist. How do they work on your teeth?

Well, judging from the mounting of a lot of the masks I see on people, it certainly is a waste of time.
The masks don’t help. The virus is airborne. It all depends on the concentration of viruses in the air you are breathing(viral load). How do these so called “intelligent people” think doctors and nurses wearing N-95s and face shields in the ER and on the hospital floors caught it and died?

Yes. I commented yesterday that my neighbor has horses, which have a pecking order. Sometimes a new horse visits, and the leader gets a big aggressive. The owner then puts a mask with eye holes on the offending horse.
The offender then calms down.

To those wearing masks, including alone in their cars, yes, it does mean they are smarter. To those only wearing masks when forced to or when you come into close contact with strangers, no.
