I wouldn’t be surprised if debates don’t happen this year. Because, you know, COVID or some other excuse
A minimum number of debates should be required in order to be the candidate. They can play by the Dem rules of staying six feet apart on stage and put a piece of Plexiglas between them. No masks though so that they can’t claim that they wre misunderstood.
It was on Howie Carr on Friday - the Dems are laying the groundwork for no debates. Use the Virus as the first excuse - then say that Trump isn’t interested in a real debate only name calling.
Former Virginia Gov. Terry McCaulife is the brains behind this strategy.
Democrap rules require democrap-friendly moderators (including FOX never-Trumpers) who give them the questions ahead of time.
Well, we know they will cheat anywhere anytime.
Maybe they can build him a special lectern with a built in LCD display to read from.

My gut...Unless they put a bug in his ear and make him “repeat after me”....there will be no debates.

My prediction:
Joe will test positive for CoVid days before the debates and insist on submitting pre-recorded responses to agreed upon questions...he will also be drugged up with meds so his verbal bumbling can be explained.
Maybe the Democrats will agree to the debates only if they get to pick the moderators (Rachel Maddow, Don Lemon, and Joy Behar).
Kind of like the Andy Griffith community-choir episode where a talented singer sang for Barney Fife from offstage (tone-deaf Barney thought it was his own voice amplified by the microphone)
