Trump does seem to PO a lot of people.

Yes....and obviously horrifies the enemy. If we don't already know who they are....he draws them out for us.

We should publicly mock them and deride their products. Patronize entities that remain silent or who openly support The President.

Someone was saying the nursing homes and elderly do not get any exercise so when it attacks the lungs they are too weak to fight it off.

You know, I wonder about that.

How is it that Project Veritas, and its founder James O’Keefe, can so easily penetrate all these various organizations and get them to spill their guts, and actually video their fraud as it occurs?

Can ANYONE in the GOP figure out how to do this, say, in the Philadelphia or Detroit City hall, for example? Or the Broward County Board of Electors?

Certainly these various election tenders could use all the help they can get on election day, no? Why can’t we sneak in some of our guys wired to GOP fraud monitors, and tied to some good law enforcement types?

Trump purposely lets the liberal mayors, city govt. and governors dig their own holes and self destruct. If things get really bad he will send in troops and stop the bad guys in a few hours. He has it down, let them dig their own graves.

While the physical work of responding to the riots is a state and local responsibility outside of DC, the President has a pretty important role in showing moral leadership in response to this nationwide phenomenon. A couple examples:

1. Don’t make idle threats to “take control” or send in federal troops and then back off like Obama in Syria, He should either do what he says he’s going to do, or, better yet, don’t make the threat in the first place because it is probably unconstitutional. And leave aside empty bombast like “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.” He can never back that up.

2. Show some leadership, and speak much more clearly, consistently, and forcefully. Be much clearer about what these “protests” represent, and that there is a clear line between peaceable assembly, which is Constitutionally protected, and rioting, looting, and vandalism, which are crimes that will be punished. Make it clear that the federal government stands for and will protect the Constitutional rights of all citizens.

3. Along those lines, make it clear that interstate conspiracies to instigate riots will be investigated and prosecuted at the federal level.

4. Speak for the silent majority. America is not a racist country. It may not be perfect but it is the best place in the world to be a racial, ethnic, or religious minority.

5. Really, for the millionth time, stay the hell off of Twitter. It doesn’t help him in the slightest. Except to a fairly small subset of the people who are going to vote for him anyway, it just makes him look like he doesn’t know what he’s doing and has no control over his own administration. You can’t be the “law and order” candidate when your own messaging is chaotic.

Sacntuary cities are a liberal cause but Roberts is owned lock stock ad barrel by deep state dems. and my guess is hes been forced or coerced into taking money as well so hes well compromised. On any big issue like sanc.cities he will be told how to vote by his owners.

FNC undoubtedly using film(just now) from Farmer Jones who taped the entire meet of the Palm Beach commission where people got a chance to air their grievances it was awesome! I heard most of it.

One resident shouted White Power in response to an aggressive white woman supporter who was in his face shouting black lives matter.

If Trump retweeted the video, it is because it showed how foul mouthed and intolerant the demonstrators were to a pro-Trump rally. I couldn't find the Trump retweet. Do you know definitively if it was on his official twitter account?

Hell, Liz Cheney has bought into that theory. Why didn’t Trump DO something to Putin? Did he know? If not why not? Is he reading his Prez Daily Briefings? What a b-word neocon. Puppet for the evil Dick who is running around promoting “wear a mask”.

Thanks I’m learning but slowly....

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

All you have to do is go to the site & click the "copy" button for the emoji you want, then paste into your post. Since it's html (which you don't have to code yourself for the emoji), you do have to put in 'paragraph' breaks where necessary to keep it all from running together. That's it - easy peasey!!

😁

Last week he hit BLM really hard and spoke about the churches being wrong to endorse them.

I watched DJT speaking to college students this past week. He had a young black woman speak (college student). She was the field director for the Republican candidate opposing Ilan Omar (I believe).

She issued a harsh tirade against BLM, saying:

"They don't care about black lives! If they did they would:

Not have allowed black businesses to be destroyed in the riots.
Protest Planned Parenthood, who kill more black babies than anything else.
Spoken out on all the black-on-black crime.
Done something about all the black murders in Chicago and other cities."

She needs to be on the Trump team.

He is beginning to address the Constitutional issue of publicly funded schools not allowing the exchange of ideas, namely trampling on the 1st Amendment rights of conservative students.

Any that continue their censorship or support for opposition (conservative) expression will lose billions in federal money.

Hawk Newsome, Black Lives Matter

I'm stunned how much air time Fox News has been giving to this THUG! Saw him on Martha MacCallum's show a few days ago. I refused to watch Fox News Sunday today.

Of course I rarely watch FNS these days anyway because I can't stand Chris Wallace...

IMO we are well beyond contract tracing. The virus has spread so widely that we should just concentrate on protecting the most vulnerable and let the virus spread to develop herd immunity. We can deal with bolstering the healthcare facilities in hot spots.

I agree. Everyone should take reasonable precautions (don't want to debate that again), but expect the virus to achieve more spreading events and even super spreading events. It really is up to everyone to keep the rate of spread manageable, and there's not a thing the government can or should do.

What's unknown and missing from that table is exposures. There are many more exposures than cases, with an unknown number of those exposures producing antibodies. The antibody rate in NYC was 25% a month ago. It's pretty likely that almost all of the vulnerable people there have been exposed. They should just open up completely now.

There is an interesting 2010 NIH study that found that 53% of those admitted to nursing homes died during the first six months and 65% within the first year. So I wonder how many of these nursing home/LTC Covid deaths would have occurred regardless. Here is one paragraph from the study I found astounding:

Death has become institutionalized over the last 100 years. Today, 25% of all deaths in the nation occur in nursing homes and the proportion of all deaths that occur in these settings continues to rise. By the year 2020, an estimated 40% of Americans will die in a nursing home.

So 10 years before Covid, 25% of all deaths in America occurred in nursing homes. And with an aging population, I can understand the 40% projection for 2020. Similar percentages happened in Europe as well. But the US has larger populations per nursing home.
