You couldn't even fathom two engineers publicly posting such diametrically conflicting views of bridge or highway design.
It is not a question of the President's authority to fire anyone but whether the Attorney General can do so. AG Barr gave Mr. Berman a graceful way out by resigning but Breman chose to act like an ass so AG Barr backed up and asked the President to fire him and he did so. You can't be nice to some people and obviously Mr. Breman is one of those people. No harm, no foul. At least he will not be around to cause problems in any other position.

He probably wasn’t at the time he made the statement but when presented with the choice of supporting his Attorney General or a rouge US Attorney, he chose his Attorney General. Good Choice.

Durham is not the only one doing the job. There are many that are working behind the scenes. I do think the next few weeks will be tumultuous but the ending will be glorious. The battle is raging.
If I’m understanding the chain of events in the last 24 hours correctly, it sounds like President Trump had nothing to do with Berman’s original separation at all. I’m not sure what that implies.

I am confident that the President was aware of the plan to replace Berman but left the details to his trusted subordinate. Had Berman acted honorably and resigned when requested, the President would not have needed to be involved. When he chose to stage a public spectacle, Berman found he was not as important as he thought he was.
You may have a majority but that doesn't necessarily mean you have a majority vote. Linda has a lot of power and if his majority doesn't stick with him.........oh well.
