For some reason reminds me of an incident when I was 11 or 12 years old. Playing softball with some friends in the schoolyard on a summer day. One of the boys really connected with the ball, sending it on a flat trajectory right into a big wasps nest that was inside some bushes at the edge of the field.

The sound it made when it hit was similar to the sound of popping a blown-up paper lunch bag in the cafeteria, sort of a muffled pop.

This resulted in what looked literally like a hurricane of wasps. We all ran like the wind. I hid behind a corner wall of the building and watched as a great circling cloud of wasps moved slowly across the field and out of sight. Fortunately, none of us got stung. We were fast runners back then.

AG Barr’s original announcement gave the NY lawyer full and undeserved public “cover” (saying he was resigning instead of having gotten himself fired)

but the NY lawyer blew it , and blew it badly by his “refusal”
to leave. Now, everyone knows he failed at his job
