Why are the National Park police, government officials, and members of Congress allowing our national treasures and statues to be destroyed?
Arrest these anarchists. Fire and prosecute those who are guilty of deliberate dereliction of duty. This has to stop!
Enforce the laws of the land! Do not destroy America's history.
At the ABQ shooting there was a group called the New Mexico Civil Guard, a small militia group no one has heard of. They were dressed in brown camo and openly carried assault rifles (open carry allowed in NM). They were seen but didn't appear to interfere as the protesters (AKA rioters) tried to take down a statue of a Spanish conquistador.
After the shooter shot the antifa attacking him, he sat down on the pavement seemingly in shock. Even though he still had his gun, the mob was completely enraged and approached him shouting in anger. The Civil Guard took the opportunity to surround him to keep him safe and even picked up his gun. The police, who had been told to stay out of sight and not interfere (by a lib Dem mayor) finally stepped forward and arrested both the shooter and the Civil Guard members (but no Antifa). After that occurred an ambulance was allowed to take the shot person (still on the ground) to a hospital.
The shooter was charged and jailed, and the Civil Guard members released but the police confiscated their weapons and proudly posted a picture of the guns for all to see. If the Civil Guard members didn't do anything wrong, they should be able to get their guns back but I'm sure one of the newly "Red Flag" laws or some other excuse will be used to prevent it.
That question of yours passes over at least two other scenarios you ignored .... every city street where a crowd has gathered and is terrorizing .... caught/shot in the act.
It'll all stop the very next day when every talking head calling itself news reports it.
I meant to say national monuments.
The only endangered monument is Mount Rushmore. I wonder if they have plans for that too?

I agree. At this moment the destruction of American history and heritage is THE FLASHPOINT in this war.
No one cares about some dumb hippy commune crap in Seattle, or black rioters burning their hood. No one really cares.
This statue thing, book banning, name changing stuff, is really pi$$ing people off and will soon get people killed.
Speaking as someone who is heavily armed/fit and capable of action, allow me to explain my lack of action.
I would be acting alone or possibly with a friend or two, because we have no organized response to the insurgency.
My/Our action would be met with the highest possible level of response from the State. We would be killed or jailed by the authorities.
Currently that means my only real option is to demand this property be protected by the authorities charged with that duty. I called and demanded, they ignored.
I don’t intimidate easily. Not after 24 years of walking a cell block. To those who would try I’ve got 3 words:

The State doesn’t really concern me once the needed numbers are assembled. They are out there bowing to big mouthed fat chicks now, they’re not going to do $h*t to an armed Richmond like crowd.
Taking down corroded civil war statues is just a warm up. I hope there are heavily armed guards round the clock on Mount Rushmore, and the Statue of Liberty.
The destroyers say that they are going to destroy a certain statute at a certain location. People go to protect said statute from the destroyers. The Police are called or sent. The arrive. Who do they arrest? The people protecting the statute. And yet there those on here that swear on their dying breath that the Police are on our side. They must be blind. The very purpose of the Police belays that lie. The Police are a part of the Government. The Executive Branch. The Police are the Enforcement Arm of the Government. They will do as their Masters direct.
So, yeah, Burt we [the Government is doing a hell of a lot. Only it is not as or what we expected. When will the General Public wise up? Probably never. Not even when they are sitting in the stockade surrounded by bard wire with a manned machine gun on each corner. Those who refuse to see. Won't see.

I would move them all out of the cities so they can burn in peace, move these to locations where they can be protected rather than random places in Democrat cities. This is are culture and it deserves to be protected and that is the reason they want to destroy it.

Of course, if we shoot back we will go to jail, with trumped up charges and lying "witnesses". But at some point, it is better to die on your feet than on your knees. It is almost impossible to organize, since the Marxists control / monitor nearly every means of communication. Best bet is for someone with a voice to pick a day and an hour and at that point in time we all unleash the dogs of war. If one million of us fight back at the same time there is nothing they can do. If not, they will get us one by one, and continue to isolate us and cut us off socially and economically just like every other Marxist revolution.
