Atlanta police officer Devin Brosnan, one of the two officers involved in the fatal shooting of Rayshard Brooks, suffered a concussion and other injuries during the altercation with the 27-year-old, the officers attorney revealed during a Wednesday discussion with CNNs Chris Cuomo.
Devin ends up taking out his Taser and yelling at him to stop fighting, stop fighting, said Don Samuel, an attorney for Brosnan. Mr. Brooks grabbed the Taser from him and shoots Devin gets shot with the Taser.
At that point, Brosnan fell over, landed on the pavement, and got a concussion, Samuel explained, adding that prosecutors in the case did not examine the medical records of the officer.
Brosnan and former officer Garrett Rolfe responded to incident in a Wendys parking lot on Friday, leading to the deadly altercation with Brooks, who resisted arrest after failing a field sobriety test, leading to a struggle with both officers. During the altercation, Brooks obtained an officers taser and attempted to flee the scene, which led to a chase.

Besmirch the child beating criminal?
Soros and company spent tens of millions on local D.A. elections. Now we know why: overwhelm and collapse the system.
What good are laws if they are not only not enforced but those tasked to do so are penalized?
But the DA says that Brooks was courteous and cooperative, so how could this be possible?
And how bad will the riots be when the Atlanta and/or Minneapolis juries come back with “not guilty” or a hung jury?
he was politely talking to the officers about visiting his mother.
or something
DUI suspect violently resists arrest, points a gun-shaped thing at a cop, fires, and the target falls down. He11 yah the other cop has every right & duty to terminate the suspect (as means to immediately stop lethal assault).
Oh it was a taser? Yeah the DA declared/confirmed those as lethal weapons last week.
The corrupt DA in Atlanta has to prosecute to keep his base from burning up their own neighborhoods and then coming after him.
The deceased was a criminal resisting arrest and endangering the officer’s well being. While resisting and endangering, the resister violated the civil rights of all the cops. The register broke the law by resisting. The resister has no right to resist. Upon resisting, he forfeits his rights.
To defend such a criminal is a mark of a leftist intent on the destruction of law and order and of American civilization
They have ceased being Americans

Its easy if you snip out the parts that dont fit your narrative.
Heres an example. I was listening to a local (white) radio talk show host yesterday. And heres what he said about the Brooks shooting. I think Ive got it almost word-for-word:
The police found Mr. Brooks asleep in his car. Mr. Brooks failed a field sobriety test, and so he was arrested. Things went south from there. One of the cops shot and killed Mr. Brooks.
(I found that amazing. And sickening. No mention of any struggle. No mention of any taser.)
You left out “black”
The Atlanta DA is black and is acting as a professional black man that places skin color over law and order. He is racist to the bone
The charges to which Brooks pleaded guilty and for which he was still on probation dated back to August 2014 when he was convicted on four counts False Imprisonment, Simple Battery/Family, Battery Simple and Felony Cruelty/Cruelty to Children.
He was tried in Clayton County and sentenced to seven years on the first count, with one year in prison and six on probation and 12 months for each of the other three counts, sentences to be served concurrently. The charges to which Brooks pleaded guilty and for which he was still on probation dated back to August 2014 when he was convicted on four counts False Imprisonment, Simple Battery/Family, Battery Simple and Felony Cruelty/Cruelty to Children.

This tends to put an entirely different perspective on the events and how things proceeded. Will any of this ever be taken into account?
Verdict of “Not Proven” is apparently not part of the jurisprudence.
“Saint” Rayschard is not yet ready for canonization.
Not sure, but it will probably happen in October, about 3 weeks prior to election day.
Did Fredo Cuomo call him a Liar?
How can justice be served if an unpopular outcome in a trial results in more severe rioting? The rioters don’t seem to be the least bit interested in the truth in these matters at times, but in spite of that isn’t it important that justice & truth be served? Be nice if certain members of the Supreme Court understood this as well. For those who can’t grasp this concept, why shouldn’t they be punished most severely? Something needs to change if this country is to live up to the expectations of our founders.
notice how there were no riots after the last 2 Supreme Court decisions that didn’t go our way?
Don't expect the Left to tell the truth now.
This country is at war. I know it is a hard thing to accept, but accept it we must.
But according to the D.A.’s statement, the tazer had already been discharged twice & couldn’tbe discharged again, therefore Ofcr. Rolfe was in no imminent danger.
D.A. rather disingenuously forgets to mention that 1 of those discharges struck Ofcr.Brosnan, and the 2nd discharge was the one Brooks aimed over his shoulder in the split second before Ofcr. Rolfe shot him.
In the video from Wendy’s surveillance camera, you can clearly see the flash from the tazer as Brooks half-turns & tries to aim it.
Did this guy even fire his weapon? I don’t understand how he was charged with anything. I wouldn’t blame every cop in the nation if they quit right now.
And then he turned into a deranged animal when the officers tried to put the cuffs on him. He complied with putting his hands behind his back. He'd been through it before. He knew it was coming. At one point in the video, Brooks appears to be on top of one of the officers. I know all three rolled around quite a while, but Brooks was definitely on top of one of them. The bottom line is, if there hadn't been a taser, Brooks would have tried to go for one of their guns, and I heard he may have even tried that.
