John Bolton's bombshell memoir contains new instances of alleged misconduct by President Trump including agreeing to back off criminal probes as 'personal favors' to certain dictators.
The book also contains a claim that Trump pleaded with Chinese President Xi Jinping to boost U.S. food purchases, describing it in terms of his own election. Trump regularly touts a deal to pause the China trade war as one of his chief accomplishments.
A new book excerpt obtained by the New York Times contains the claim about the criminal probes. Bolton writes that in cases involving China and Turkey, Trump was willing to 'in effect, give personal favors to dictators he liked.'

More impeachment hearings? Based on a book of rumors and hearsay and opinions?
Bolton claims that Trump offered to drop prosecutions involving Turkey. Were these prosecutions actually dropped?
Also, didn’t Trump condemn China’s concentration camps?
The Daily Smear lost a huge million lawsuit to Melania.
They smear Trump at least 6 times of day .
A huge lefty Trump hating machine .
Boltons book might be useful for the next toilet paper shortage.
Countries do that kind of horse trading all the time: “Let my spy go or I’ll round up 10 of your spies over here.”
Bingo! Bolton May be in this canal much deeper than we know...
And awayyyyyy we go!
This close to publication, why would the Times be given just “an excerpt,” when surely by now they could have been given an entire book to peruse?
I can’t picture Trump begging for anything in a negotiation...no matter how bad he needed it. That is not his style and would display weakness.
There’s a cottage industry of quick buck artists who are former officials of the Trump camp.
They are the disgruntled, getting no respect from others inside Trump groups. They are told to leave and they find there’s no golden parachute, no cut for them.
Of course, there’s always a studio gig, a book deal waiting with provided ghostwriter. Easy money. All that’s needed is gen up some spicey details imagined or almost real, thoughts of wrongdoing possible maybe.
Being anti-Trump can bring a windfall if you sat a table with him or one of his, or talked with him on the telephone or with one of his. If you get passed over, not favored, then by all means get disgruntled, get angered that those young Trump stars dissed your golden resume and paid you no attention.
You’ll get a flash of money to make it all better if you turn on them..
But time your sass around an election so the payout be worth a good $$$ season.
It seems the October “surprise” has come early.
The UK Daily Mail is known as the UK Daily Fail.
“Boltons book will also say that Trump once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die. And that, in fact, inspired Johnny Cash to write his famous sing.”
You mean he wasn’t on the grassy knoll is Dallas when Kennedy was shot?
Now that COVID and BLM didn't get rid of Trump, are we back to the impeachment crap??
Dopey book with dopey accusations!
"President believes successful trade negotiations with other nations will help his reelection chances."
Yep, that's pretty much how it works.
I suppose Trump is still trying to cover up for his habit of peeing on prostitutes beds in hotels. /s
Who elected John Bolton to overthrow an elected president....how angry can this little man be? He is hurting me, my family and my country. President Trump fights for America....John Bolton does not...I need President Trump; I sure as 'ell don't need this little pipsqueak who should be strung up and hung by the neck until dead! From a fairly notable position in our government and unable to except reasons he was no longer needed, he has become extremely dishonorable and a thoroughly despicable person.
No wonder Trump fired this joker.
