An Ohio barbecue joint just across the border from Erie named Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf its employee of the month for bringing so much business to the lakefront eatery over the past weeks.
The Facebook post from Breakwall BBQ owner Mike Morgan is a wink and a nod to Pennsylvanias slow, gradual reopening process a process that has nearby Erie County still in the yellow phase, which prohibits restaurants from offering dine-in services.
Ohio restaurants have been open for full-but-socially-distant business since last month.
Also want to give a shout-out to our employee of the month, Pennsylvanias very own Governor Wolf, Morgan wrote in a June 14 Facebook post. You the man, sir!

LOL!!!!!
We need more of this laughing at their insanity.
Bwaa,ha,ha,ha.
I’m a Pennsylvanian who knows Wolfie personally, and would not vote for him for dog catcher. This story has me laughing out loud.
Nice. We need more of this
Omg-absolutely hysterical!!
Comedic genius right there!!!!
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Can’t he pay the sales taxes to PA, just to be fair?(/s)
Send a check for a penny.
Do you have any good anecdotes about Tommy the Commie?
Thank God I live in Florida. We have (mostly) adult leadership down here.
I went to my favorite breakfast place yesterday and there wasn’t a mask in sight, nor any tables closed to patrons for social distancing purposes.
Just like this Wu flu never happened.
Note to PA’s legislature: Impeach the expletive-deleted faster. Before you no longer have a private sector that will keep your public sector in the style to which it’s become accustomed.
I needed a good laugh and this was it. Priceless!!
Meanwhile, some nasty kids getting early estate payouts are thanking Governor Cuomo.
remember when gun stores put up pictures of Obama in their shops as employee of the month?
Reminds me of how Obama was an awesome gun salesman...
It’s called Wolf kept PA closed for business so people went to Ohio to get the restaurant experience
In the 1990’s, he, and his rich ilk, were supporting Democrat mayors, and city council members, for the city of York, PA who were thoroughly incompetent and presided over an increase in violent crime and a bankrupting of the city government, and a deterioration of the downtown, which had been recovering under the previous, Republican, mayor.
I had a CPA firm that I had built from scratch. I bought a downtown historic building to live and work in, thinking the downtown was recovering. I decided to run for City Controller as a Republican, thinking I had the skills to do the job. I was advised to talk to Wolf, and against my better judgement, I did it. He told me he never supports Republicans, and he made a contribution to the campaign of my opponent, who was a failed newspaper editor. I lost the election.
Three years ago, I sold my accounting firm and retired, due to a serious health problem. Last year, I sold the building for a third of what I paid for it.
Wolf and his cabal supported the building of a hockey rink that promptly went bankrupt, and its bond payments were required to be made by the bankrupt city, which was not permitted to take possession of the rink.
