The Fort Worth Police Department is addressing a report by Fox News political commentator Tucker Carlson regarding the May 31 protests.
In a statement published on Monday, the police department called Carlson's report "absolutely inaccurate."
According to Fort Worth police, Carlson reported that protestors looted and vandalized businesses and "dozens of rioters were arrested for this."
Carlson also claimed that Police Chief Ed Kraus "dropped all charges against the rioters."

If there was any rioting and looting we wouldve arrested them - but as you see there are no records and therefore there was no crime.
Vote Blue!
As a good libtard, when confronted with the truth or facts, just deny it/them. Modus operandi confirmed.
Yep.
I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.
From his letter, “To that end, I am dropping all the charges for rioting that have resulted from the protests in Fort Wort, and each individual that was arrested for that violation will be notified by letter that the charges have been dropped”
He then came back and said anyone who protested and was arrested for assault, criminal mischief, vandalism, theft, etc are not included in this...
So apparently rioting doesn’t include those things. As a citizen of Fort Worth, I was dismayed to read his statement. Should have let them tear up 7th
I think i’ll believe you. holding a position of authority has nothing to do with telling the truth anymore, unfortunately
Who can you trust?
Cops?
Politicians?
Gubmit?
Having China run things might be an improvement.
I would expect Tucker to have a response tonight.
Fort Worth Police Drop Rioting Charges Against Protesters June 9, 2020
Police in Fort Worth, Texas, are dropping criminal charges against dozens of people who were arrested and accused of rioting during protests against racism and police brutality. Chief Ed Kraus says the move is part of his reply to calls for police to change how they operate.
"On May 31st, Fort Worth Police arrested several dozen people for rioting during a protest," Kraus said in a statement. "Since that time, the protests in the City have been peaceful. The protestors have expressed their anger over police misconduct and have demanded changes."
I used to live on Lancaster near Lynn Smith Auto Sales in the early ‘80s. Bought a couple of cars from there.
It’s the “looting and vandalizing” and “dozens” I think they have contention with, it IS a little exaggerated by Tucker to make a political point. If it matters. Makes it sound like mass rioting with broken windows or trashed businesses etc
Basically 12 people were arrested, someone threw a water bottle and it got too rowdy so they teargassed and arrested people that Sunday night. Decided the charges were minor so dropped them
I live here too and thought it was interesting that it stayed fairly peaceful
Elect a LIEberal Democrat, and this is what you get!
This election is about America!
Democrats are anti-American!
Don’t vote for ANY Democra!
Zot! Troll!
You wouldnt live on E. Lancaster these days, even in the daytime.
Throwing frozen water bottles at police as well as shooting fireworks at them is not peaceful. You need to get a new dictionary.
Nah - theyll just change the definition
So it was a “mostly peaceful riot” and “mostly peaceful” looters?
Admit nothing, deny everything and lie like hell - Democratic Party modus operandi.
