Republicans want to see Trump fail as badly as the Democrats do.

Where are the gutless Republicans?...

Everywhere.

You’d have to search hard to find one that wasn’t gutless. :)

I’m calling my members of Congress tomorrow. I’m sick of this crap and not going to take it anymore.

I would even take VP Pence now. Somebody who could articulate what’s going on and what should be done. Somebody not afraid of being rudely shouted down by Jim Acosta or the like.
Pence is too quiet. Too non-assertive for this day and age.
He is even less visible than Jeff Sessions was.
As some are saying, the president can’t do this alone, nor should he have to.

You know who from the past (GWB) I would like to see more of on the air? Ari Fleischer former press secretary for Bush.’
I don’t think Ari is a dyed in the wool NeverTrumper.
I never have gotten that impression from him.

When the national civic religion is “anti racism,” only a brave few (Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump, Tom Cotton) dare to do or say anything that might cause the mob to declare them a heretic.

Defending law enforcement and condemning rioters, looters and arsonists should be a no-brainer. Why aren’t they holding hearings on Antifa and the militant BLM activists? Our politicians and leaders are afraid. They’re afraid of being called racists. We are being led by a bunch of cowards.

The GOP Congress critters are watching the Democrats cut their political throats and do not want to distract from the spectacle or interrupt the process. As the maxim attributed to Napolean goes, “Never Interfere With an Enemy While He’s in the Process of Destroying Himself.”

They’re sold out to the democrats and their goal of pulling this country down around our ears and creating a ghetto utopia. I haven’t been affiliated with them since the Obama devil turned loose the Rats of war against half the country. But this crap was going on long before that. Yes, we’re a few events from a full blown cultural revolution, it seems. The Republicans in D.C. aren’t going to do a single thing to stop it. That’s completely clear.

On Free Republic posting “Where are the gutless Republicans?” I don’t see anyone doing anything at the moment. They are either:

1.Just sitting on their hands or

2.actively joining BLM.

Can you tell me anyone at all who is actually out in the world who doesn’t fall into category 1 or 2?

It is odd. They come to the defense of Trump during impeachment. But this crisis they are all stunningly silent about the civil unrest. Maybe there is a reason for this. They might think why should they intervene if the Democrats are making themselves look bad by joining in with the rioters. But they do have an obligation to assure the public that they can act if the law is broken. The common complaint of Republicans is they don’t act. And that is true especially since they knew a lot of socialist/radical ideology has been in the university for at least 20 years. That ideology has now infected almost everybody young... and they still don’t act.

The death of George Floyd on May 25 was horrific, an obvious abuse of power by the Minneapolis police officer and three colleagues who made no attempt to come to Floyd's aid. The next day, the rioting began in Minneapolis. It was violent, destructive, and murderous...

Not to quibble (ok, just a little), but...

Floyd was killed on May 25, but the violence didn't begin until May 27. It took two days for California-based ANTIFA to drive to Minneapolis to incite the protests.
