They are in gutless paradise. They’ll need to enjoy that there because Jesus hates lukewarmness and they will go to hell.

I think it is obvious- they are waiting to see which side wins, then they’ll “choose” a side.

Blackmail? Threats of physical danger?

What other explanation can there be for such a show of cowardice and silence from the GOP Congress?

Thank God for Senator Cotton.

They know damn well that Chauvin is an outlier, a bad cop who has kept his job because his Democrat-run city kept him despite his abusive tendencies.

Well...4 “outliers” kinda make them not so outlierish.

It is astonishing how quickly the dims react.

Something happens and NANCY PELOSI AND CHUCK SHUMER ARE FRONT AND CENTER WITH TRAILING OTHER DIM CONGRESSMEN AND SENATORS RIGHT BEHIND THEM.

When something happens concerning us..THE REPUBLICANS RUN FOR THE HILLS...WHERE ARE JOHN THUNE, TOOMEY, LEE, AND THE FEMALE SENATORS...NO WHERE TO BE SEEN.

It is incredible to me. I WOULD BE OUT THERE TO DEFEND MY LEADER. KAYLEIGH HAS MORE SPINE AND COURAGE THAN OUR WHIMPY ARSEHOLES.
Especially THUNE, who is supposed to be LEADERSHIP. WHAT A JOKE. THE JERK WANTED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT. IMAGINE HIS
FIGHTING the fights that PDJT had to fight. He’d be in bed, under his covers.

What a group of LEADERS we have to live with.

Most Republicans would rather curry favor with the media and academic elites, who hate them with a passion.

Trump who doesn’t have a conservative back ground, fights these lowlifes “tooth and nail” everyday of the week. Yet he gets very little support from cowardly politically correct Republicans.

Most of “our” Republican leaders are a waste of sperm.

Honestly? They need Trump to set the tone because they're all scared witless by the idea of taking a step in a direction that Trump isn't willing to go and then getting both savaged by the left and getting a bad tweet from the president. And the White House just kind of seems confused and not sure of exactly what direction they want to take. Trump talked about sending in the Marines but the generals balked and Mattis peed on his shoes, so that went away. He talked about declaring Antifa a terrorist group but without a willing Congress to provide the legal framework that's out. And now it seems like the plan is to hold a bunch of rallies and go hard on supporting cops, which is probably what he should've done from the beginning but he's just getting started.

We're behind the 8-ball and it's not a good place to be.

Where are the gutless Republicans?

Where they always are - standing over in the corner with a stupid smile on their collective face, hoping their lunch money won't get taken and knowing it probably will.

And this is EXACTLY why I will not donate to the GOP, only to the President directly.

I sure would like to know!!

I’ve long said “they’re in this together.” I really do believe much of it is staged/planned by both sides together.

This is the #1 reason why I voted for Mr. Trump: not because he is charming; not because he said what I wanted to hear; not because I believed he could get the job done; I voted for this man because I wanted (and still do!) ALL career politicians OUT.

ALL Incumbents OUT. The work culture of our government is pitiful, self-indulgent and filthy with every single sin imaginable and it’s tolerated and perpetuated each and every single year. It’s disgusting.

Mr. Trump is neither a politician nor a statesman. He knows the Art of the Deal and can see the Art of the Con long before he can smell it. THIS is why I voted for this man, we don’t need any more politicians. We need people who love this country more than they love their wallet & egos.

They are where they always are. We elect them and they will not fight for our values. This has been going on for more years than I can remember. I hope now that our nation is sliding into the swamp of history, the elites who have stood by while they piled up more and more riches for themselves will soon understand that they, too, have feet of clay, which means that money cannot makes their dreams come true, no matter what. I can count Republican statesmen on one hand..John Kennedy of LA, Rand Paul of KY, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan of OH..These stand out in my mind because they fight hard for what is right, without waffling. I know there are others that Freepers could name, as well. Marsha Blackburn, Senator from TN, is also a strong force. She has been awesome for a long time. When I see some of those elected to serve in our Congress speak on TV, I fear for our system and wonder how on earth such people get elected. This is a big flaw in our democracy, and it will not be fixed.
