I would even take VP Pence now. Somebody who could articulate what’s going on and what should be done. Somebody not afraid of being rudely shouted down by Jim Acosta or the like.
Pence is too quiet. Too non-assertive for this day and age.
He is even less visible than Jeff Sessions was.

Listen to one of his speeches. They are devoid of substance and every other sentence gushes praise to “Mr. President.”
