As antifa militants have taken over six blocks of Seattle’s Capitol Hill district, calling it the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” or the “People’s Republic of Capitol Hill,” Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan has refused to act, and Gov. Jay Inslee (D-Wash.) actually laughed about this open revolt, claiming he hadn’t heard about it. He did say, however, that he was demobilizing the National Guard. President Donald Trump told Durkan and Inslee to get their acts together, stat.
“Radical Left Governor [Jay Inslee] and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before,” the president tweeted. “Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!”

President Trump is correct — this is not a game. Roughly 500 Americans live in the six city blocks that antifa militants have claimed in the name of their revolution. The anarchists in the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” appear to have set up an extortion racket to blackmail local businesses into forking over supplies.
Yet Jay Inslee appears to think it is a game.

Too bad the FBI has been wimpified. In the past one riot, one agent. People in Seattle are having their civil rights violated. Trump will have to send FBI, Homeland security, and other Federal SWAT teams to deliver warrants and make arrests. There will be blood.

It’s not an empty threat. It’s trolling.
I think President Trump is trolling these people majorly. He knows that the Democrat Mayors and Governors have responsibility for this stuff. He sends out Tweets and insists that they deal with the riots and says “if they don’t I will”.
But I think that is intended to convince the Democrat leadership to do nothing. Prolong the problems in their own back yards. Wait for the President to make the mistake of jumping in with his guns literally blazing. They would love that. But I don’t think the President has any such intention. He isn’t going to try and solve the problem. Why should he? He didn’t cause the problem and he doesn’t have jurisdiction over the problem.
I think cities that have been under Democrat control for decades are going to do very, very poorly. And I think the President is going to make this very clear to voters as we approach November.
The Democrats want him to screw up. I think he’s sitting back, watching them screw up.
MSM wants no part of the Seattle story. F.Chuck Todd (MSDNC) quickly dismissed the story on radio this morning when he chose COVID reemergence in states like FL, TX, AZ as more important than Seattle. 2nd wave...blah, blah, blah ?
As for AZ.: testing continues, cases continue to logically increase, but rate of infection is slightly higher. About 75% of 1100 deaths come from nursing homes.

President Trump's best strategy is to loudly denounce the communists while giving the communists time, high visibility, a national platform, and plenty of rope.
