Black Americans Speak Out on George Floyd and the Riots

George Floyd was killed by excessive force by a police officer in Minneapolis. Across the board, Americans were outraged. Peaceful protests arose, but with the protests came forces that initiated violence by killing innocents and police, burning buildings, destroying property, and stealing. American Thinker interviewed black Americans for their feelings of what is happening in this country today. The black Americans are all in agreement that they are horrified by what happened to George Floyd, but they are equally horrified by the violence and lack of law and order.

These black Americans feel dismayed by what happened. They recognize that there is legitimate anger over the tactics used by the Minneapolis police.

Stacy Washington is the co-chairperson of Project 21, founded after the 1992 Los Angeles riots to highlight black Americans' political diversity. She differentiates between a protester, someone who exercises his right under the 1st Amendment, and rioters who break the law. Kathy Barnette, who is running in the general election for Pennsylvania's 4th Congressional District, saw "the heart of a nation rise up in defense of George Floyd. No one tried to defend the indefensible acts of these officers. I was even more excited to see President Trump immediately have the Justice Department investigate and not sweep what happened under the rug."

All interviewed want to emphasize that it is inexcusable for many of the cities to have abdicated the rule of law. There are those who claim that the riots and destruction of property are understandable and excusable since it is not a life being destroyed. Stacy responds, "Property is a life.

Those speaking out are not Black America. Black America is a political construct, a euphemism, apparently to be more official than Black Community uttered to denote homogenity where there is none.

There is in fact a Black Citizenry composed of numerous diverse components. The democrats must convey black homogenity to create a mental concept that forces blacks to be included or go it alone.

There are lots and lots of black American citizens that actually disdain the Black Community because they know they are self excluded by success and good living

If Trump actually has a large percentage of the black vote, it is all over for the Democrats. They know that and have incited riots in their plantation strongholds.

I keep reading stories quoting protestors that say "it's a new day" and "things are going to be different now" and think to myself- oh yeah? why is that? Frankly, I think most of America is disgusted and alarmed at the wanton destruction/ looting that has been going on for 10 days. Setting fires and breaking glass is not the way to affect positive change. If anything, it has made things worse.

The various spokespeople all demand free stuff. Why do they think the rest of America is just going to hand over their hard earned savings and property? And demanding free stuff just puts their real motives on display. If they really wanted positive change, they would work hard to improve their lives through education and jobs.

"Property is a life."

Fundamental pillar of our society. The left lets property be destroyed because they look at property as expendable and collective. Imagine living in these war zones and most of your downtown is bombed out. The dread and hopelessness I could never fathom. A good portion of these areas will never be the same.

In the 60s and 70s there was a growing awareness of first impressions and how blacks were being portrayed on TV and in American movies.

For many Americans, the only black people they saw or had any experience with were those they saw on TV: the pimps, the ‘hos, the down and addicted, the violent, the poor, etc.

Nowadays, we tend to see each other as we are, just ordinary people going about our business, doing the best we can every day the same as everyone else.

And then someone does something stupid and a black person unnecessarily dies, often as a consequence of their own behavior.

Then, while protesting that unnecessary death, somehow we Americans manage to raise that person to deity status for being killed while breaking the law.

And then we Americans somehow righteously destroy the neighborhood while letting our inner freak flags loot and fly free.

These are the images we see and show on TV nowadays and these are the new first impressions we teach our children about “black” people.

What is curious is, the same political mindset that once enslaved black people based on color and who then fought to maintain slavery, and who later fought against civil rights to maintain segregation, are now telling the world that “black people” can’t do anything without a law making US treat them as equals, while every other race in the world does’t need this help.

These people are the modern day liberal left who must keep blacks on their GovCo plantation election after election, black vote by black vote ... because you black people aren’t black if you don’t vote for them!

And these are those who pass out bricks to young black men so they will be seen by the world looting and destroying their homes. Great first impressions, huh?

Yep, those are the images that makes you want to hire black people, elect them to power and have them as neighbors!

Ponder that for a while ... are you woke yet? Or have you instead been awakened to the reality of the psych warfare being used against you?

It’s evil. A sneaky evil that has always been with us/US.

So, why not instead vote for those who have always seen and fought for you as equals, then and now, according to both God and the Constitution?

You want change? Then, vote differently for a change!

50 years of Liberal Democratic domination of the Black inner cities and nothing has changed.
High taxes and regulations keep inner city upstarts down, at the same time lax law enforcement makes it impossible to operate there without being robbed or worse. Again this is the fault of the Democrats.
Teachers Unions (again controlled by Democrats) control inner city schools, oppose minimal standards and oppose vouchers and religious schooling within inner cities.
Democratic welfare policies have ruined the black family, rewarding single motherhood and absent fathers. This in turn creates conditions for criminality later in the youth’s life.
Joe Biden said at one time that all blacks were criminals.
Planned Parenthood was created to kill black babies.
Gun Control was originally created as part of Jim Crow.
City governments, police chiefs, mayors, alderman/city councils, and in most cases state governments are all controlled by Democrats, including Minneapolis. Yet the liberals blame Trump and Republicans for the actions of one rouge police officer, and for systemic racism. They ought to be looking at themselves.
