They specifically called out police clearing Lafayette Park with tear gas and rubber bullets so Trump could visit a church across the street for a photo-op.

Trump is still the Commander in Chief. Anyone who saw that line of Secret Service and Park police holding a line against an aggressive crowd that pummeled the officers with missiles and bricks, who dismantled barricades and were pressing to rush the White House necessitating the Secret Service at a critical time to shield the President of the United States into a bunker, a rational person would say Trump if he so chose would be more than justified in invoking the Insurrection Act and deploy Federal troops. These generals if they cannot or will not follow lawful orders should resign or be removed.
That was my take too. They were in reserve, and it was only 200 of them. Not the whole damn division. These generals are up to no good and something unconstitutional.
Once again, Trump needs to suspend habeus corpus and selectively introduce protective custody to his sworn enemies.

I posted last night on one of the related threads that I was concerned that the military was going its own way and maybe Trump didn’t have full control over them. Nobody responded, but it’s been a concern of mine for awhile now.
President Trump needs to consider every single option.
