Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) said on Sunday that while some Minneapolis residents felt safer with National Guard troops on city streets after demonstrations over the police-involved death of George Floyd turned violent, others “felt terrorized by the presence of tanks” while protesting.

So infuriating, which I saw with my own eyes in this mid sized city, when Obama made the police give up their military style vehicles.
The leftists knew there was a physical war coming. They knew they would not be able to defeat the armored vehicles. So Obama took them away.
Someone here told me some were allowed back.
Probably no funds left to buy them back, though. Now imagine the budget of all day and all night full police in all these cities. Expensive!!

Is she implying that law enforcement should just stand aside and let rioters do what rioters do best? Give them room to do their thing as a mayor of Baltimore might say?
Next there will be a class action case by the terrorized victims.
If Omar and Tlaib are unhappy and terrorized then I am happy and contented. Like the way that works out.
