RE: Dr. Michael Baden has a celebrity-spiked career as a forensic pathologist, fiction writer, and television host
So, does this mean he won’t be objective?
I rather suspect he was told to file the charges and let the jury sort it out. Asphyxiation leaves telltale signs - the ones that prove Epstein didn’t kill himself, and the toxicology report will probably cast further doubt.
But that’s why he’s charged with manslaughter which has a lower standard of proof and will mean 3.5 to 5 years if he is convicted.

Sure very respectful knee. Almost in deep prayer
sometimes, you just can’t fix stupid; and that applies to you.
An expert for hire.Sorry,as a juror I’d never, ever believe such an “expert”.
“Was this another rush to judgement?Asphyxiation not the cause of death...”
Doesn’t matter. That kind of roughing up/physical punishment could kill a lot of people by triggering other fatal mechanisms. The case shall proceed.
Good.
I meant Post #33
Including tbe last 2 minutes. No attempt to roll him over to see his face?
The blood was not cut off to his brain.
With no blood flow to the brain, you lose consciousness in seconds.
So if you lean on the neck of someone who is high or who has cardiac issues, you are still liable for their death if your actions somehow exacerbated those deadly conditions.”””
AND-—in the heat of trying to subdue such a person-—PLEASE advise me how I would be able to ascertain such information.???
It is really easy to be a Monday Morning Quarterback.
Sorry
One time we showed up at a scene with six cops doing mouth to mouth CPR. I immediately thought what the heck did they do? Cops hardly ever have much patient contact. They had arrested a morbidly obese guy in his 20s who was trying to stick up for his friend. They hand cuffed him and threw him face down against the wall in an indian casino hotel hallway. He thrashed around for a minute or two, then he “calmed down”. After ten minutes they figured out that he was dead.
The first thing I did was make them take the cuffs off. They were making it impossible to do effective chest compressions or ventilation. But it didn’t make any difference he had been dead for two long. The drugs and shocks the paramedics gave him did nothing to alter his flat line.
I thought maybe we would be testifying at some point in the future because there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that the police had killed him. But these were tribal police and he was a white guy...
Yet we believed him with the Epstein autopsy.
Why not tase him?
Thanks for the confirmation of my argument, with the name-calling.
Loyd was staggering drunk, disoriented and having breathing difficulties when they dragged him out of the car. They had him handcuffed face down when the officer was standing on him. The cop got off him After 8 minutes when blood started coming out of his mouth and nose. I thought he had possibly died of an aneurysm, but it turned out to be a heart attack.
It wasnt asphyxiation? So what? It was still caused by somebody standing on his neck for 8 minutes, while he gasped for breath and his heart rate soared.
I dont know why FReepers are defending this out of control thug in a uniform (who already had TEN complaints for excessive use of force). I have LEO in the family and not a single one of them or their friends says this was either permitted or acceptable police behavior.
The other cops get a pass?
“dead for two long” Android autocorrect, a moden miracle.
