Almost totally absent from the mainstream news Friday, as the violent insurrection in the wake of George Floyd’s death spread to cities nationwide, were the preliminary results of his autopsy. The report was part of the arrest warrant for Derek Michael Chauvin, the disgraced former Minneapolis police officer who was taken into custody on Friday afternoon and charged with the third-degree murder of Floyd while he was in police custody last Monday evening. The brief mention of the autopsy suggests that the case against Chauvin, and possibly his three colleagues assuming they too will eventually be charged, for being totally responsible for the death of Floyd may not be as cut and dried as previously thought.
The Washington Times headlined its story Friday afternoon “Asphyxiation not the cause of George Floyd's death: Autopsy.” An examination of the official complaint (arrest warrant) for Chauvin includes this sentence from a paragraph about Floyd’s cause of death on page 3:
The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.

The eight-minute cell phone video showing Chauvin with his knee on Floyd’s neck after the latter’s arrest for allegedly trying to pass a $20 counterfeit bill, has become one of the most viewed videos of a police action of all time. Reporters, analysts, and almost everyone else in the country from left, right, and center have immediately jumped to the conclusion that Chauvin is clearly guilty of the murder of Floyd.

And Epstein committed suicide.
Interesting. But it sounds like they’ve done a physical autopsy but are still awaiting toxicology.
By CDC guidelines it is obvious that he was another victim of the Wuhan flu.
so, if the cop brutally kneeled on your dads neck for 8 minutes as he lay handcuffed and helpless face down in the street, Would anyone except the argument the cop wasnt responsible for the death?
Maybe not murder then, but clearly criminally negligent homicide or manslaughter
Apparently the prosecutor believes the cop to be the proximate cause of death and believes he can prove it.
That has little to do with the fact he did not die of asphyxiation.
They must have flown in the Clinton Family Coraner to extend the riots.
He continued kneeling on Floyd’s neck two and a half to three minutes after Floyd became unresponsive.
The cop was doing what he had to do to control a feral animal. I’d leave any area of the country with a feral population such as Minneapolis. Pretty soon people are going to have to resort to personal protection more often to keep these at bay. Let the crows have NJ.

I have been saying from the beginning that sensible people with some intellectual curiosity would wait until the toxicology reports are done and all the facts are laid out before passing judgement.
I have a rather extensive list of nasty names thrown at me by many on this board who say I should just follow the herd and fall in line with all the other knuckle draggers who don’t bother with facts and logic.
He was trying to save the man’s life with the well-known “crush his neck with your knee” maneuver.
Too bad they did not do toxicology on the cop.
Regardless of any underlying health issues or drugs/alcohol in his system. They had him cuffed and should have just put him in the cruiser, even if they had to zip tie his ankles to do it. There were four cops. They could have done that instead of kneeling on his neck for 5-6 minutes.
He didn’t just die, he was killed.
Anyone who thinks this guy would have died at that point without the 8 minutes of a knee on his neck is deluded.
Doesn’t mean, however, that there weren’t some tricks up to get that cop doing that at that moment (Memorial Day, the start to a long hot winter, how coincidental!).
If not for Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck for about 9 minutes, he would be alive today. Nothing else matters.
Except, we do not know that is what happened.
We do not know how much pressure was exerted on the neck.
We do know George struggled and continued to resist as he was on the ground, for the first 4 minutes of the video.
Watch the video carefully. Watch the rest of George's body, not just the neck/head area.

What was the cause of death?
I believe cutting off the flow of blood to his brain was the reason he died.
Waste of time. There is no way that this information is going to change anything. There will be riots/burning/stealing/attacking for several weeks, or as long as it takes to turn this into a major crisis for DJTrump. The hate-America left sees this as an opportunity to finally get rid of Trump.
Besides, the cop IS responsible for the man’s death.
