Mike Freeman, county attorney for Hennepin County, condemned the actions of white cop Derek Chauvin as 'horrific and terrible' But he added there was 'other evidence that does not support a criminal charge' Prosecutors must decide if the cop used force deemed 'excessive' when he knelt on George Floyd's neck for eight minutes until he passed out and later died Freeman warned the investigation 'can't be rushed' He voiced fears of a repeat of the Freddie Gray case in Baltimore in 2015 where all charges were dropped against cops involved in the black man's death Outrage is building as still no arrests have been made over Floyd's death with protests entering their third day in Minneapolis

Remember George Brown.

Remember Treyvon Martin.

Remember Freddy Grey.

Remember Rodney King, which is what this case most reminds me of.

A video without context. Cops who followed departmental policy to the letter.

Politicians who wanted to make political hay of the event.

A rush to judgement, vindication in the first trial, then conviction in federal court, all to satisfy the mob.

We need to follow due process, allow the evidence to be gathered, hear from both sides and all witnesses.

Video, and the narrative given to it often lies.

We should never become the electronic lynch mob, which is what is going on here, the worst I have ever seen it.

Read it and weep:

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner (ME) conducted Mr. Floyd’s autopsy on May 26, 2020. The full report of the ME is pending but the ME has made the following preliminary findings. The autopsy revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease. The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.

Told you the cop wasn’t putting his full weight down on the neck.

The coroner is a government agent, and therefore presumed to be lying when investigating wrongdoing by the government.

Strangulation, we all know what that is.

Traumatic asphyxia, however, is a precise medical term, and doesn't just mean "pressing on the windpipe".

"Traumatic asphyxia, or Perthes's syndrome, is a medical emergency caused by an intense compression of the thoracic cavity, causing venous back-flow from the right side of the heart into the veins of the neck and the brain."

Note that the coroner, by definition an agent of the state and therefore not impartial, came out and said "The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death."

Catch that? "Being restrained by the police." "any POTENTIAL intoxicants" -- muddying the water, they haven't identified any yet.

"Likely contributed" -- not a definitive dismissal.

This is sophistry so they can hope to avoid monetary damages.

The important thing is, it appears from the AUTOPSY that Chauvin did not kill Floyd by cutting off his air supply. Floyd probably had a heart attack brought on by drugs, disease, and MAYBE stress from the situation.

Gee, but that sounds a whole lot less terrible than Chauvin done killed the man by putting his knee on his neck, doesn’t it.

What evidence is that. Dan Bongino was a NY cop and Secret Service agent.
He says looking at the officers right foot u can see there is no weight
on it and is moving his right foot around meaning all the weight was
in the officers left knee.

“diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation “describes just what it say
no throat air blockage.
It does not describe killing via pressure on the main artery feeding
blood and oxygen to the brain.

Burn baby burn. Watts all over again. Burn Detroit. Burn Baltimore. Burn down the Twin Cities. ANYTHING involving a cop and a black person warrants authority to riot and loot. Everyone for himself. Help yourself to other people’s property. Burn down businesses. Burn out your jobs. Burn baby burn. Sorry the man died, but drugs ingested with heart disease does not end well.

A simple ‘yes sir, I understand sir, here are my hands sir.’. Resisting on the street is NOT a good idea. That’s why the devil created lawyers. Let them fight it out.

There are two main arteries, you know. Not just one.

We do not know if even one was blocked.

I have seen the video. I have not reviewed it frame by frame. I do not see what Bongino claims he sees.

“. . .killing via pressure on the main artery feeding
blood and oxygen to the brain” aka - “strangulation.” And there was no evidence of that. Just face it, the dude probably had a heart attack or drug overdose. Bongino was wrong.

If I recall his aorta tore. It was attributed to being weakened by years of drug abuse.

Then you should watch Bongino’s YouTube Podcast that shows the video.
He was a NY Cop. He knows what to look for. Apparently, you don’t.

My GUESS will be a heart attack. The Criminal Complaint lays out a confusing mish-mash of reasons: "The Hennepin County Medical Examiner (ME) conducted Mr. Floyd's autopsy on May 26, 2020. The tox screen has not been released and neither has the full ME report.

Just talked to a retired cop who was trained in the technique. He demonstrated it to his wife last night.

He said, because of the angle of the video, it looks like the pressure is on the neck, but really, there is only a relatively small amount of pressure between the shoulder blades.

He said his wife was amazed that she did not feel any pain or pressure, and could breathe easily.

But, because the knee extends over the neck, it looks like the pressure is on the neck.

He said he was surprised how well he remembered the technique, after 10 years of being retired.

To: know.your.why

“Was the cop putting pressure on this neck or just keeping his head down? -Watch the video, idiot.”

Name calling makes any argument you make suspect Your emotions are overriding your reason. I did watch the video and one can’t tell the amount of or lack of pressure.

There must be something else that was not released to cause the DA
to arrest the officer. Did you notice the autopsy leak happened the same
day as his arrest? Coincidence, I’m sure (SAR).
