A Twitter spat that began on Friday night escalated Saturday afternoon between President Donald Trump and his former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who is a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama.
It began with a tweet from Trump promoting Sessions opponent, former Auburn head football coach Tommy Tuberville. It led to a response from Sessions as having been damn fortunate for the recusal.
The back-and-forth resumed Saturday morning, with Sessions posting another tweet directed at Trump about the people of Alabama and their relationship.
.@realDonaldTrump: Mr. President, Alabama can and does trust me, as do conservatives across the country. Perhaps youve forgotten. They trusted me when I stepped out and put that trust on the line for you.

Trump responded with a series of tweets, once again questioning Sessions 2017 decision to recuse himself from investigations tied to the 2016 presidential election, which included allegations of Russian interference in the election, and the possibility of Russian collusion. He then suggested Sessions drop out.
Jeff, you had your chance & you blew it. Recused yourself ON DAY ONE (you never told me of a problem), and ran for the hills. You had no courage, & ruined many lives. The dirty cops, & others, got caught by better & stronger people than you. Hopefully this slime will pay a big https://t.co/AJPUBTPCnT

What did they have on him ? He’s on the take. They all are.
I used to really like Sessions. Something happened. POTUS Trump was burned.
What civil forfeiture statutes?
Sessions never understood we’re in a war against dirty scumbags with no scruples.
Additionally, he’s not a warrior.
As one poker player said to the folding other, “Good bye, cold ass!”
Sessions should be thrown into the dustbin of history.
He sounded good, even smart (at times), but in the end, he was a cold ass failure!
History will not treat Mr. Sessions kindly!
Step up, Alabama, your country needs you! Ditch Sessions.

Hillary didn’t let those 900 FBI files that Craig Livingston dropped off at the White House go to waste.
Here it was 25 years later and they were still useful.
“...The dirty cops, & others, got caught by better & stronger people than you. ...”
Damn ... that’s gonna leave a mark... :^)
At a time when not only his President, but his COUNTRY needed him to stand up and be a man, he folded like cheap lawn furniture and allowed the democommies to stage the charade that cost us three years.
It’s on his shoulders, squarely. He could have stopped it. He chose to tuck tail and show a yellow streak.
Go away, Mr. Sessions. You had ONE JOB, and you couldn’t - and WOULDN’T - do it.
And you cost the country three years of bullshit and damage in doing so.
“Hes OLD! Isnt that reason enough? “
NO. Some older folks have developed wisdom and have learned from experience. Don’t put all older people in your incompetent category.
“Hes passed hes sell by date”
His age has nothing to do with his lack of character.
It only flickers when the tv cameras are on them, otherwise the light is out.
Shouldn’t they be having this disagreement privately?
No?
Jeff was not “in Session” when he was Attorney General. He was literally AWOL on the most important soft coup attempt in American history.
Time for him to retire on whatever credibility he has left (and shut up).
Benedict Arnold’s actions were less consequential then this backstabber. What a reprehensible terrible person. Hope he loses and is made aware of how much he is despised and for many valid reasons but mostly because he is a snake and doche bag
read the chapter on revenge.
Sessions is younger than President Trump, so that should not be a disqualifier.
