Two Round the Clock Diner locations in York County were told their business licenses are revoked as of Friday.
Written warnings were issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture on May 14 to both locations at 222 Arsenal Road and 145 Memory Lane, according to the departments spokeswoman Shannon Powers. But, because they reopened ahead of Gov. Tom Wolfs timeline, the state revoked both business licenses.
Powers wrote in an email, "The Agriculture Departments food safety inspectors did follow-up inspections on May 20 and found the businesses still in violation of Governor Wolfs March 19 executive order. Both locations were issued a second warning on May 21, and told that their licenses would be revoked if they did not comply with the second warning. Today, the department revoked both businesses licenses.
York County as of today went into the yellow phase of Wolfs reopening strategy. Until today, the county was in red, which meant residents were ordered to stay-at-home, and businesses closed. Most businesses are allowed to reopen in the yellow phase, known as continued aggressive mitigation.

Okay then. Time to defy.
Thanks for electing the frigging Third Reich to run our state, Pennsylvania.
At this point, the diners should just ignore him and keep on a servin’. Just make sure there’s plenty of cameras around to capture the action when his tyrannical LEOs show up to do their master’s dirty work.
REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!!!! Vote every single one of these communist SOBs out of office. The ones that can’t be voted out, recall/impeach them.
I’d pay good money to see Wolf dragged out of the statehouse by his ankles........
The Tyrant Strikes Back!
York county has LOTS of Trump flags flying there ... I drive thru often
There is conflicting info over whether they are open or closed. If they were shut down after the inspection on the 21st, on the 22nd everyone was open. The Round the Clock diner is an institution. There will definitely be push back.
Dem governors like Wolf are proving every day the old saying that inside every progrssive/Democrat is a totalitarian screaming to get out
This is a link to a free Christmas dinner they do for the community
There you go. I'd go eat there tomorrow.
myself as well...
Governor Wolf to the citizens:
This is MY kingdom and you SHALL obey
My, how Stalin like...
In case you want to take a road trip:
There won’t be any tyrannical LEOs showing up because two weeks ago York County District Attorney Dave Sunday issued a statement that he will NOT prosecute any attempted criminal charges for violating the Governor’s orders.
However, in good lawyerly fashion he also cautioned that administrative (revoking of licenses) and civil penalties (levied by State agencies) are beyond his control.
In the immortal words of Harry Truman “the son-of-a-bitch is no good.”
When they reopened, they went according to CDC guidelines. Every-other booth was opened and everyone wore masks.
When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - WHEN YOU SEE THAT IN ORDER TO PRODUCE, YOU NEED TO OBTAIN PERMISSION FROM MEN WHO PRODUCE NOTHING - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws dont protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed.
