I emailed my pastor and he hadn't even heard and

still hasn't heard from the Bishop here in Illinois

I expect that there will be enormous pressure on

them to remain closed because...

VIRUS!

In any case with the presidents announcement

there will be parishioners waiting outside if the doors aren't open.

Churches open, brave souls welcome.

I have a dilemma. I want to go back to church, but I don’t want to play the face mask and six feet apart game.

I have worked from home for over 15 years

so I don’t go out too often but

I opened a new PO box today, no mask

no one said anything at the post office and

there is solidarity with the sans-maskateers

be brave and stand up you will be influencing

those timid souls that need some encouraging.

Face covering is for bandits and Muslim women.

I am none of the above.

Had an “underground haircut”.

Bought a case of IPA

Bought some plants.

Went to the PO.

No “mask”—no problem.

If I triggered a Karen into wetting so much the better.

Those misleaders did more damage to Christianity in a week than Mao and Stalin did in their lifetimes.

Hyperbole, perhaps.

My name for Kate Brown, governor of Oregon. Do you get the little not so funny joke in my nickname for her?

And with so many grey hairs in the churches, that’s a dangerous WONDERFUL! idea.

“Congress shall make no law …

Last I checked; Congress hasn't made any 'law' to this effect.

At my local WallyWorld; it's about 1/2 and 1/2.

Though I must confess to being a contrarian in following the little 'Walk This Way' arrows in the aisles.

Police at the bank: Describe the robber.
Teller at the bank: He was about this tall and wearing a mask.

A few years back, when clerks of court were being flayed over their refusal to issue same sex marriage certificates based on their personal beliefs many on the left, particularly Hillary, adopted the poll tested phrase, "Freedom of Worship." This term made the subtle implication that the left had no objection to people going to church/synagogue, etc. for a few hours each week, as long as you left your beliefs there when you left and went to your private or public sector job.

This way the left tried to have their cake and eat it too: they could make the bold assertion, "I fully support a person's freedom to worship," but would also have cover when they tried to clamp down on any individual asserting their personal morality in a public venue outside of their place of worship.

It would now appear that the left has dropped the pretense of even this much, and is emboldened in their open war on faith and the practice of any religion other than worship of the state.

My criticism of these governors pales in comparison to my criticism of all the “religious leaders” who shut their churches down so quickly when this fiasco started.

If these pastors do not choose to minister to their people during the "covid crisis", then they will be judged unworthy of being ministers when the crisis is over.

Take your worship, and your tithe, to a more worthy minister.

Quite frankly, can anyone explain to us why any politician is “essential?” A garbage man provides a more essential service than a politician.

That has the makings of a great tagline!
