A Pittsburgh radio station is again under scrutiny after one of its reporters called Department of Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine, a transgender woman, “sir” at least three times during a Tuesday press call.
The incident happened while KDKA-AM personality Marty Griffin was asking a question about what the state’s “end game” is for reopening after the coronavirus, according to the Pennsylvania Capital-Star.
A Pittsburgh City Paper transcript shows Griffin called Levine “sir” in both his initial question and follow-up, leading her to tell him “please don’t misgender me,” and that it was “really insulting.”
Griffin later apologized on Twitter and said distractions caused him to use the wrong pronouns.

Dear Lord. That thing is positively demonic. I’ll be interested to see how important all of this tranny stuff is when we hit unemployment levels that top the Great Depression. All of that garbage is a really expensive luxury item. Poorer countries don’t sweat their pronouns.

When your state health director is so stupid that he doesn’t understand something so basic (that he’s a male, which is different from female and cannot change) that even the folks at the home for the mentally retarded grasp, how can you possibly deal with a health crisis? Ever hear of deoxyribonucleic acid? Understand how it works and replicates? Not this guy. Probably not taught in school anymore either. That 23rd chromosome in the human genome is just too politically incorrect to mention.
This “person” should be in prison for the nursing home deaths...not acting like a victim.

That said - the reporter was rude. Had it been a transgender discussion or discussing the Doctor’s sex that’d be one thing. But bringing it up in a general discussion like this is just a personal attack.
That said, I admire the chutzpah.
