In the Supreme Court Oral Argument on Congressional Subpoenas for President Trump's Financial Records broadcast live, Justice Sonya Sotomayor slipped up and said "WE" are asking for his personal tax returns", while questioning President Trump's lawyer Patrick Strawbridge. Her use of "WE" instead of referring properly to the Congressional subpoena showed her true colors.

No, she was saying that she, Sonya Sotomayor, is one of the individuals requesting Trump’s tax returns.

She used “we” because she feels deeply that she is requesting his returns.
Her use of “we” illustrates her perspective. It’s not the perspective of a judge, or a “Justice.”

Yes and it has been done. Samuel Chase was impeached by the House for political bias. He was found innocent by the Senate on all charges. He served until his death in 1811.

The same statute that the Dems are relying on gives the President almost unfettered authority to release anyone’s IRS records. Imagine the reaction in an alternate universe where President Trump had ordered the release of all of Pelosi’s and Schumer’s tax returns.
