Resistance is growing against unconstitutional orders from Democrat governors around the country.
Pennsylvania Sheriffs are denouncing Governor Tom Wolf’s orders to turn business owners into criminals.
Local media reports:
“Two local sheriffs say they won’t enforce the Pennsylvania governor’s COVID-19 mitigation measures. Sheriff John Zechman of Snyder County and Ernie Ritter of Union County say they won’t help the governor turn business owners into criminals.“
Cumberland County Sheriff Ronny Anderson made a popular Facebook post that assured citizens that the Sheriff office would not enforce any order that violates the constitution.
Sheriff Anderson said in part: “Our office will stand with the citizens in defense of all our Constitutional Rights! I have no intentions of turning local business owners into criminals“.
While this article deals primarily with sheriffs in three counties, other counties' leaders (Green, Washington, Somerset and others) have officially informed the office of our Governor, Tom Wolf (affectionately known as "Tommie the Commie"), that they will not enforce his edicts.
Wolf’s only option would be the State Police.
There aren’t nearly enough of them, and they want NO part of becoming the tip of this spear.
Wolf is on the radio now, in full Nazi regalia. He is angry b/c the subjects are rebelling.
The hell with him. He is a jackass.
Trump tweet, about an hour ago:
“The great people of Pennsylvania want their freedom now, and they are fully aware of what that entails. The Democrats are moving slowly, all over the USA, for political purposes. They would wait until November 3rd if it were up to them. Don’t play politics. Be safe, move quickly!”

he could call out the National Guard, for a state mission such as natural emergencies and civil unrests...and if one should think the Guard cannot be used against citizenry, that one should think again...
He is not doing that. He is a coward.

Finally - a clear and honest assessment from Trump. I have been very concerned by his uncharacteristic passivity in front of these gubernatorial abuses of power. I hope he comes out with more stuff like this, and in fact probably he should issue new “guidelines” that make it clear that the goal is to open ASAP.
We are always going to have a disease of some kind or another floating around (and this is by no means the worst one in the history of humanity), and it’s unrealistic to keep pretending that the governors’ “measures” are going to eliminate all disease henceforth and forevermore - when they’re really just about stifling the economy and the citizens henceforth and forevermore. Power-crazed freaks.
Tom Wolf does NOT have the stomach for a Kent State moment with the National Guard. You can take that one to the bank.
I think the emerging infection/mortality numbers have reached a point where Trump feels confident in making the full pivot.

and do what with it? he would have to have a purpose for the Guard’s mobilization other than merely as a political block against a governor...
What was Ike doing when he nationalized the NG in the Deep South over segregation? That was PURE politics. All about keeping them from being used for the wrong political purpose.
He is threatining taking away liquor licences. He has lost control, and he knows it.

I live in Carbon County, which seems to have few cases (not surprising, since few people LIVE here to begin with) but is still on lockdown. Nearby Monroe County is also locked down.
