he could call out the National Guard, for a state mission such as natural emergencies and civil unrests...and if one should think the Guard cannot be used against citizenry, that one should think again...

No they don’t! I have not been on lockdown (my company is exempt) and I’ve seen a grand total of one trooper since our lockdown started almost two months ago - not even on the turnpike.
The only stories I’ve heard of cops harassing “violators” have involved very small communities with part-time cops, one of which stopped a lady delivering papers at 4:30 a.m. and asked her, “What are you doing out at this hour? Don’t you know about the travel restrictions?” Her back seat was loaded with papers and she replied, “What the hell do you think I’m doing with my car loaded with newspapers?”

I believe these threats are civil rights violations. I have sent a complaint to McSwain to investigate.
I think a lot of cops, at least the rank-and-file, are coming to the realization that the Left has always hated them, and the Right is becoming unhappy with them too. They will NOT like an environment where everyone despises them.
