If only there were a way to safely administer the vaccine to people who are immunocompromised.
Because if we could stop them from being infected by anti-vaxxers, what we’d have here is a solution in search of a problem.
A thought I frequently have while reading news stories in the coronavirus era is, “I wonder which viral YouTube conspiracy theory video led people to believe this.” A vaccine is the only thing that’ll rid us of this plague of death and economic ruin, yet of course — of course — a gigantic percentage of the public doesn’t want it. I’m guessing there’s a clip out there with 25 million views about how Bill Gates is planning to turn us all into pedophiles via the combination of an arm jab and widespread 5G. Asked whether they plan to get vaccinated against COVID-19 if and when a vaccine arrives, a majority of Americans (55 percent) say yes.
The rest — a significant minority — say they won’t get vaccinated (19 percent) or they’re not sure (26 percent).
If those results were to hold, tens or even hundreds of millions of unimmunized Americans could ultimately undermine any vaccine’s ability to stop the spread of the virus.

I won’t.
I’ll give it a few years to prove it works, doesn’t harm you, and isn’t a nefarious mechanism of the One Worlders.
I will be one of those.
I am not anti-vaccine, I’ve had plenty of them.
I will not get a vaccine that the Chicoms or Bill Gates had anything to do with.
People are too suspicious. A non-medical guy who’s number one goal is reducing the population of earth wants to inject you something. Sounds legit. These are the kind of people who would get suspicious if they got offered a free train ride! Everybody loves trains!

And this thing isn’t killing me at 51..or at least the odds are strikingly against it.
Average age of death is in the high 70s, no?
I’ll start getting it after 70...it will give me 20 years to see if there are any side effects :)
How does everyone think mankind made it this far? Hint, it wasn’t due to a vaccine. We are biologically setup to deal with viruses. Millions of them over our lifetime. There are but a few things mankind truly needed a vaccine for, and covid is not one of them. Didnt need one for sars, dont need one for sars2.

A scientific study says that the virus will mutate and weaken, just like the Spanish Flu virus did.

I might accept this a couple of years down the road, after the manufacturers stop short-cutting the process and the side-effects are well known.

As long as it comes without the Bill Gates chip, I’d get it. Vaccines have saved millions of lives.
I work at a historic cemetery (18th and 19th century) and the number of children’s gravestones is terrible...lost to things like measles, scarlet fever, and a host of other viral and bacterial diseases that we no longer even think about because vaccines have eliminated them in the developed countries.
But no chips please and I’m not sure how we can guard against that.
In any case I’m not that worried about this current version of the yearly flu (I know, I know, it’s the cold virus and not the flu virus). You get it or you don’t. Keep up the immune system and you’ll do better. And we’re all gonna die someday but I don’t want to take the entire country down with me.
Anyone who refuses the vaccine should be required to wear a mask at all times they are out of their home.

My wife and I will not be getting the vaccine, even it’s required, I don’t plan on getting it.
Next year there will be a new virus and this vaccine won’t work, so it will be starting all over again....no thanks

It is those one in four who will not need the vaccine. Since we lose about 2.5% of the population every year, we will lose one in five in about 10 years.
