I have always thought Gore sounded mentally “slow”.
Didn’t Tommy Lee Jones who was a roommate of Gore’s at Harvard say that Gore spent his entire undergraduate years stoned! I certainly think it affected him mentally. Gore later flunked out of divinity school (There to avoid the draft!) & was asked to leave law school due to grades. (Somehow that’s not flunking out! I guess you had to be there!)
